    Totally sad and embarrassing for the profession. They certainly have just lowered the bar for all of us and if this merger goes through, AE is screwed. Parker has no love for this company, and now that his little b!tch airline is getting cheaper, I would plan on all the growth going to them and Piedmont. Get your apps out, and keep your nose clean.

    Any thoughts about how you'll feel having PSA "brothers and sisters" asking for a jumpseat? I typically don't like jumpseat wars, but I'm pretty pissed, and feel that their presence right now could degrade my focus.

    Good advice. I'm hoping for a long leg now.

    So they will get interviews with Airways until the merger, and then they will begin getting interviews with AA. With them hiring 20-25 Eagles a month, and at least 15 or so after the 824, that doesn't leave many slots left to fill with military, friends/family, LCC carriers, and finally PSA.

    I'd say those guys are going to get to live with their decisions for some time.

    And all Parker has to do not to be in violation of there new contract is filter through PSA one crj700/900 for a day on there certificate by 2016. They don't get nothing but cuts immediate and a big maybe on getting to LCC before the merge, there contract probably mentions nothing if us merges with another that this will apply to the new carrier. Time will tell, numbered guys here have waited 16 years and they had better wording in letter three, if you can call it that.

    This isn't any different than what eagle did. Some here knocking psa don't want the merger to happen for eagle sake. It's all going to be bad pay. Just BC it's YOUR job doesn't make it any better. I just can't quite follow the rational. Regarding their ta and the merger it had some strong language. Spoke with a military guy yesterday that was offered a psa job told by the cp who interviewed him that if the ta passes and the merger goes through he has probably sealed his fate from being hired at the new company unless they call him up.

    Their ta he said specifically addresses the issue. Eagle's does not. It depends on what the company wants to do but there is no language in Eagle's ta regarding getting hired off the street.
