Is there anyone of this forum who can provide with me NON REV listings and seat availability for SAS flights?
I?m looking to use MyId travel for a flight to Copenhagen, however even though the smiley is green, i have been bumped before due to a high number of NON REV being listed.
FLYSAS website does not provide seats available or NON REV listings, and it would be really useful info to have.
so if your a employee of SAS or know a way, then i would greatly appreciate it
    FYI Jeg snakker Dansk!

where do you need to fly to and from where? if it's from the us, i would advise to do a lhr - copenhagen with ba, way easier to id90 on ba and you can see the loads online.

You can give this site a try. However, it only gives flight seat availability the day of travel. Choose the route, then click the flight. Make sure it's operated by SAS and not a codeshare.

I?d love to do LHR, if it wasent for the stinking $100 extra in airport tax... its a rip off. also i prefer to go direct to CPH from any USA airport. if i should get bumped it is significant easier and cheaper to find hotels in USA than in London.
my options are either IAD, EWR or ORD to CPH

I believe it, however last year my parents got bumbed twice doing a similar route. MYID travel page gives your green, yellow and red smileys, depending on seats availability. they were green both times, however there was 20 NON REVS listed on the standby, and thats were my issue is.
I need someone who has access to the company listing, and can give me an update on my chances

If you just fly thru LHR you will not be charged some of the fees. I remember hearing that you will have to contact the Non Rev people about having that removed. Will look to see where that info is.

I cut and pasted this. This was from Non Rev Travel people on jetnet.

"* International Travel - There are U. S. taxes/fees that are applicable when returning to the United States from an international location. This can result in your NRSA charges costing more on your return travel than on your outbound travel. To view the breakdown of your charges, go to your Travel History in Jetnet and click on the underlined amount for the segment in question.

On airline connections through London, the GB tax can be refunded if in London less than 24 hours Copies of other airline boarding passes must be furnished to NRSA Refunds."

It doesn't tell you how much you will get back, but at least you'll get something. Thanks to all of you for your help.

    Here is some more:

Update: Based on a previous charge to my parents using Business Class from LHR-MIA the tax savings is $258.40. My parents didn't save the boarding passes and didn't talk to the agents so they had to pay the full $352.60 on a CPH-LHR-MIA flight. If I'd only known then what I know now...avoid a long stop in the UK as a non-rev!!

    Save All your boarding passes!!!

    Hope this helped out.

Yes, save the tickets. I had to send a picture of one to NRSA to get out of a departure tax

Yup, as previously said, email scanned boarding passes to nrsa and you will get it back next paycheck. With this it might be even cheaper to connect in LHR than CDG...
