Buddy had a pilot who is on the Interview Board on the Jumpseat the other day. They said AA is planning to hire 45 a week. Although with UAL and DAL hiring he thinks they will not reach that number.

"45 a week" = Quality is job number One / The Best and the Brightest / etc.

or "We detect a pulse". Good time to be young.

200 a month starting October 12, 2021. Minimums & Standards had to be lowered. 122 planes were retired in the last 12 months and more planes on the way to be retired. Silence on negotiations, no business & international travel recovery on the horizon. Numbers don’t lie. But Parker is still right on schedule.

Domestic traffic increases; however, this market is “Bargain Hunters” and it will be the segment which will save the airline. In addition, traffic is still low compared to same time last year.

    The only segment which will
show stability in the airline will be short haul domestic, analysis shows a full recovery in
    3 years.

Too bad they gave up the 50% language….. too bad they keep negotiating for a monthly flow instead of an every class flow…..
