So, once this thing is set up, do we have to keep the AA.com mail? Drives me nuts having to punch in a password every time I turn on MY device. About ready to rid my iPhone of it too.
    Always smooth.

One of the requirements of the EFB programs is to keep your Ipad password protected due to the sensitivity of the information in the FM-1. If you delete the password protection you are not in compliance regardless if you have an AA email or not.

Not sure what you're asking. Your entire ipad must be password protected to be in compliance with the EFB program. If you're saying you don't want to do that then the first ramp-check you get will be your last as an EFB participant. Or are you saying you have to enter your AA.com email password every time you turn on your iPad?

You can change your settings so you only have to enter the password when you haven't touched it in over 15 min. That might cut down on some of your frustration.

Like on the phone, AA mail requires a secure device. I get it. Wouldn't want any company secrets out if you lose it. Ha.

I was just thinking I could delete the AA account from my iPad since its no different than having an unsecure blue book laying around. Apparently, I need to finish the training, and will probably learn about this.

It is interesting to think how the Feds are going to bust people with EFBs. I suppose some still wont keep them up to date.
    Always smooth.

I deleted that worthless junk email account. Stupid email account hijacked my whole ipad. Messed with all the settings and won't let you do certain things anymore with it on there. Delete that trash.
