If American wants to turn cash-positive by the end of 2021,
“Aggressive cost-cutting” must be expected, even with increased demand during 2021 (due to the re-opening of borders with testing and/or the widespread availability of a
    Vaccine.

IATA is still anticipating a full recovery to 2019 pre-pandemic air travel won’t happen until at least 2024.

Air travel is now forecast to return to only about half of 2019 levels sometime next year, according to the latest forecast from the trade group the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

“It’s the worst peacetime year for commercial aviation since the industry started a 100 years ago. Outside of war, we’ve never seen anything where demand evaporated by as much as 90%.”

Dacuj is right whe he said,
“ you will see American soar.”
Unfortunately will be at the expense of their employees.

CBA negotiations in court, have never gone the employees way.

Doug Parker’s dream come true. Let’s hope history doesn’t repeat itself.

Mr. Parker should start his own Youtube channel where he mentors young airline managers. It's a great way to generate cash.

While JetBlue is planning major budget cuts, due to a revenue drop in billions of dollars for 2021...
Doug Parker remains in “absolute” silence. All meetings now conducted in the new anechoic chamber.

They get $130M back on their books, the planes still carry AAG passengers generating revenue..... from a purely financial position it was a win-win.
