That is really unfortunate and disheartening to hear. In 2013-2015 when I was working with them behind the scenes, getting to see the inner workings was reassuring that my hard stance against company abuse was the right thing to do. Very often we knew the details of and results of other pilot groups TA’s and votes before their own pilots. That was solely due to the resources the APA had developed with EVERY other pilot group leadership, and them allowing me into that inner group. The Scope committee back then was simply the biggest intel agency ever outside the CIA. It was the best union in the business back then.

Donít know all the details but there appears to be a power grab over it and they want to exclude the company from any part of it.

Theyíve also want to put Jay Dorthy in charge of it cutting Charlie currari out completely. I donít think jay would be a good leader of that program.

That is sad news to a great program for anyone who calls the Project Wingman number for help. A few years ago, I was one. Captain Charlie Currari, MD, must have mucho Karma points!

Itís an amazing program. I was one of the volunteers and I can say everyone truly just wants to help without any ulterior motives. No resume building. It also takes a while before you are let loose on the phone by yourself (6mo from when I showed up in class the first time).

The company considers the program to be as important as ASAP and FOQA and currently the APA BOD are listening to both sides and will make a determination on which way the program will be administered.
