My DAL and UAL friends think AA is ahead of the curve by offering the early retirements. Does anyone have the final number for that?

DAL did have leaves that were negotiated between the ALPA and DAL but then DAL changes their mind.

As of the June LOA bid AA has had 781 pilots retire early, with another bid closing soon.

June we will 8348 active pilots out 12716 pilots, that includes all VSTLOA pilots.

You’re right, I should’t have used those words. I should have stated that “AA rarely leads, it usually follows.”. Sometimes it has been a leader, for example in such areas as acquired debt and bad labor relations.
