I'll be down there a lot it looks like; they only have about 5 us they use in the training center that aren't full time instructors. I'm sure we can get some dates to line up for a round or two. Once Vegas-Honolulu restarts I'll bid that again. That was like a paid vacation every month, plus the hotel kept my clubs for me.

ive flown the Jumpseat on 175/190 plenty of times when commuting back in the day. Honestly, I’d bid the 145. I’m not interested in flying larger aircraft for the same pay as 145’s. It’s a good airplane, but it doesn’t belong at a regional. It’s better for passengers. I think it’s the wrong plane for regionals. New pilots need to learn to hand fly a jet aircraft. Going from a Seminole to an E175 denies them of so much learning. I liked when we had Saab and ATR’s with E145 and CRJ’s.
Training says I’ll can plan on being back next month. I’m on long call RSV at home 1st to 17th. We are doing a crapload of repo’s in/out of AFW so I may end up taking one from deep cleaning / maintenance out to a base or station a day or two also before they send me back to DFW. They pretty much deep clean one plane a day over there, sometimes two.

The problems come in when the automation is off.
Exactly the thing the FAA has been hot on for a while.
He asked which one I’d pick. I agree it’s easier to teach VNAV PTH/SPD to E175 drivers. But the differences can bite them unexpectedly.
