You can shake your shovel at them as they drive by your ditch on the way to their layover hotel.

    Hiring Update
ATSG the parent company for ATI, ABX and Omni has changed their position on furloughs.
The word now is that they will begin starting to require that new employees resign any recall rights prior to day 1.
This is a big change, and I heard folks are lobbying them to reconsider, but as of now I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news for folks looking for a decent lifeboat.

Still better than Atlas, word is we will not even look at a furloughed pilot even if they willing to resign recall rights.

    A nice touch....

All OAI Pilots and Flight Attendants,

Omni would like to purchase Thanksgiving meals for our crews out flying on Thursday November 26th 2020 and Christmas meals for crews out on December 25th 2020. If your crew is flying through meal time on the holiday it is acceptable to use your judgment to purchase a meal before flying or the next day. This year we ask that you not gather in large groups so each crewmember may pay on their individual OAI credit card. Use reasonable judgment on expense for beverage, appetizer, entrée and dessert - around $50 per person max. No alcohol on the company tab please.

Pilots should send their receipts to xxxxxxx. and flight attendants to xxxxx

Wishing the best to you and your families for a safe and healthy Thanksgiving,

    Jeff Tony

Jeff Staton – Director of Inflight Tony Williams – Chief Pilot
we can use our company credit card for bag fees, airport charges, airport lounges (if over 4 hours between flights), and a few other things in addition to when authorized by management. I’ve had them tell me to go buy myself a nice meal (not including holidays) about 4 times in 2.5 years. Pretty much for just doing my job. It’s a good company to work for, but like everywhere we have a few idiots. They typically don’t last long after IOE.

They also give you a corporate account to add to your personal Uber account. You just switch to the company account when taking a ride. If you’re in one of our 3-4 regular cities with lots of crews there will often be crew car or two.
