while I’m glad you’re back to work, many still aren’t. As badly as I feel for my friends at other airlines I can’t help but feel very lucky. We never furloughed anybody, they never even talked of it. There were no requests for contract concessions. We parked two 767-200’s for about a week or so before they shifted gears and took on additional work elsewhere. We continued hiring while everybody else was furloughing. I do reserve from my house, not from a crashpad. They fly me positive space to my assignment, and I keep the air miles. We get hotels everywhere, even in bases, once we leave home, and we keep the points. We have crew cars for our use at the training center. Life here is very easy compared to the hustle, plane swaps, crazy schedules I’ve seen at AE/AA.

it’s not a better job, it’s a different job. Our biggest problem is keeping landing currency. I’ve been home since Dec 18th, and I don’t go back until Jan 17th. I’m doing 17-23 in Dallas at the training center helping in the sims for PC’s and PT’s. So, a 7 day month. I’ve got a day off in between each sim session, any good golf courses around Irving?

Good on ya for that schedule. Hackberry Creek is a great course in Irving. I'm up for 18.

19 & 21 are days off. I don’t want to lug the bag if we’re not playing. So, be comfortable with the idea of outing your identity. If not, that’s fine, I just don’t want to check the clubs if I’m not playing.

Understandable. Don't lug them then. Not 100% sure of re-arranging the sked. No problem with outing myself. Maybe in the future.

I'll be down there a lot it looks like; they only have about 5 us they use in the training center that aren't full time instructors. I'm sure we can get some dates to line up for a round or two. Once Vegas-Honolulu restarts I'll bid that again. That was like a paid vacation every month, plus the hotel kept my clubs for me.

No thanks Chris. I can’t imagine socializing with someone who presents himself the way you do here and on APC. Cuj must have different standards, so you guys have at it. Besides, I’m sure this club doesn’t allow players who can’t even balance their checkbooks.
