    Retro pay

    September 30th, 2019

    Fellow Pilots,

As of the close of business today, Envoy Management has failed to fulfill its obligation under the "Implementation of New Pay Scales & Retroactive Pay" Letter of Agreement that was ratified on July 25th, 2019. Envoy Management owes the Pilot Group a full explanation of its failure to adhere to the requirements of the LOA regarding our retroactive payments. In the meantime, we are evaluating the paths forward to expedite a remedy to this delay in payment of amounts due.

Prolly banking some additional interest by holding it past the end of the month. They’ll kick it out soon, say “whoopsie daisy” and it was only a few days, move on and ca$h-in. As stated, this should be of little surprise. When have living up to promises and agreements ever been a high priority here?

The question to be answered is since they missed the deadline of 9/30 to make the pilot group whole, will they have to go with option 2 and pay 20 hours at the new rate for July-September?

No, all the way back to June 1st. There was no partial. It was retro whole from 1 june to be paid no later than 30 Sept or 20 hours at new rate from June 1st until paid complete.

Retarded? I don’t believe that is a word used anymore. And what is bad about a no interview/no medical flow to American Airlines. Yeah, riddle me that one Batman.

Here comes the Southwest guy with more fake news. You don't even work here. Let me guess, your lifer buddy at Envoy, Virgil is feeding you this info. Virgil is just flat wrong. You weren't up to AA standards and somehow managed to get on at Southwest. We don't care. Go post on their forums. This is for AA/Envoy pilots here who are superior to Southwest in more ways than I can count.

Well, by your own assertion, not all AA/Envoy pilots, yes? Those incompetent rotor transition pilots come to mind.

Besides, also by your own assertion Envoy pilots aren’t required to be up to AA standards as they have a guaranteed (supposedly) path to AA with no interview or simulator evaluation. All they have to do is buckle to the demand they rarely call in sick and make it past Envoy training which is something Ross apparently managed successfully.

Once again, your arguments (aside from being insulting, biased and presumptive), simply don’t hold water. Most other grifters have a more convincing schtick. Yet another F. Please report to the Principal after class.

Maybe, ohh yeah, except the making money part. And that's the ego that will cost AA in the long run. Just let everyone know that their little step brother aint that little anymore. Here is what I know:

    A) The only Virgil I know was Wyatt Earp's brother.

    B) I don't need anyone feeding me info to know that Rick and his team can't squeeze a drop without mommy and daddy AA's permission. They do what they are told, when they are told. Thats why you can't negotiate with them.

    C) Almost certainly 20 hours at the higher rate is less money for the envoy pilots than actual retro pay.

    D) You will never feel the joy of deciding that you will not put up with the BS that is envoy long enough to flow to AA, and then have your work pay off in your favor.

    E) Im based in Dallas (and have been for all but 3 months since being hired at SWA), and for October, I have every weekend off, my birthday off, Halloween off, 85:15 hours scheduled, 115.12 trips for pay at $131 per TFP. I would let you do the math on that, but being that math isn't your strong suit, I'll just tell you that 115.12 * $131 > 85.25 * $165 by more than $1,000. And that doesn't even take into account the cap y'all have to deal with.

    F) I don't need to hide behind a screen name, Rick.

It baffles me how the Envoy MEC can complain about once again getting stiffed when they green-light scheme’s allowing management to subvert tenured Pilots seniority rights or pay new previously non-tenured pilots $117,000 their first year far and away more then similar more senior pilots.

When you willingly destroy the very foundations of your own existence (contract and seniority), you’re in no place to later whine about the cracking pillars supported by that now broken foundation. Since most of those in the MEC apparently believe they won’t have to reside in this crumbling and cracking house before it implodes, it must be acceptable to disregard its upkeep. Few elsewhere on the pilot seniority list seem to care likely for the same reason. You get what you pay for and pay attention to (or not).

    Caveat Emptor.

Here comes the Southwest guy again. This paid $15,979.21 and blocked 74:47. AA Flow is a good backup, but if you want to really enjoy your career, come to SWA.

I’d love to, being a resident of PHX. Trouble is,
I can’t crack the code over there! So, I’ll await my parole unless they call first.

This! I hope very few people are waiting to flow. If they aren't trying they are fools.
