The product isn't broken. Isom covered the shortcomings and the plan to address them. FYI, businesses tweak their strategy and mode of operation all the time. The airline business is very dynamic and fluid and requires hands on management. Exactly what is happening by the way.

If there is nothing broken, there would be nothing to fix. The very hands you talk about are the same hands that have placed AA into its present position. Stop repeatedly demonstrating yourself to be an imbecile.

No my class doesnít represent the whole, neither would a class of 3.

I donít doubt that pilots have left all four for the others. I doubt all but 1 person in a class did that. But if the class was only 3 pilots, then okay, I could see that.

Ah ok I missed where he said that. The only way that would be possible is if it was a very small class. Again that could happen at any of the top four wouldn't be representative of anything, except pilots do what is best for them.

    Truer words were never spoken.

It's why a small number of pilots here have impeded the welfare pilot group as a whole and not just the latest "small group". But, what comes around goes around. Most of these same pilots will cry to the heavens when they are on the other end of that equation at AA being junior. My bet is that at some point in the futureome, they will even demand the older, more senior pilots make more sacrifices for them to protect their jobs or the qualiuty thereof. It will be in the interest of "unity" they will cry. It's easy to rationalize looking out only for your best interests when you're not the one dependant on others. Then the karma of hypocrisy knocks on one's door and a new standard is demanded. I envision that knock for those junior flow's at AA at some point in the near future, especially those who rationalized greeasily accelerating their advancement at the expense of others while at at Envoy. It will be an interesting situation to see.

APA and AA pilots have always eaten their young in trying times and the future will be no different than the past.

On that note, Neelman is starting up two airlines now. He just scooped a deal on a bunch of E195’s from Azul and is starting an ULCC in the US while he continues setting up Moxy with the A220.
Should be interesting watching 4-5 regionals vanish as soon as he starts hiring.....

Itís not two, itís just Moxy from what Iíve read. The Azul 195s will potentially be used to launch ops earlier than the projected Airbus delivery schedule.

Its two separate certificates.... down the road I’d see it being combined.

compass looks like like a good buy for a US certificate. Losing Delta flying and then losing the AA flying. Own their own sim in MSP too.

then again, he could just grab a dead certificate from anywhere, and start everybody as new hires to keep costs down and unions out for a while.
