ENY ALPA wins AIP in court!

The AIP should have been in effect because it was signed by both parties and the language was agreed upon.

Now, it will become a legal battle to be decided in court. Lawyer vs Lawyers...and guess what? The original agreement (AIP), full of concessions embedded in bullet points will go into effect giving Envoy pilots the impression that it was a BIG WIN for ENY ALPA and the group they represent, when in reality was a HUGE VICTORY for AAG and Envoy Management.

And as simple as that...Envoy becomes a very happy family. AAgain!

So let me get this straight. According to you, the AIP that was signed was full of concessions for the Envoy pilot group. Is that what you are saying?

If that’s true, the Chairman’s email was less than truthful. There was no mention of concessions in the AIP.

Instead of concession why not use...
contract improvements, increased productivity, language enhancements.

lol this is ridiculous. Why would the company walk from a deal full of concessions? If ALPA were truly in bed with management, we’d have a signed deal with language in effect already. What do you guys smoke to come up with these conspiracy theories?

This is not part of the conspiracy theory: The agreement (AIP) full of concessions/contract improvements embedded in bullet points.

    Hope you get to vote!

I would love to be enlightened. What concessions you believe to be in the AIP?

While none of us outside the MEC really knows what was contained within the AIP, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was enough “soft language” ie grey wording that management could easily manipulate into some sort of gives/concessions.
    This ain’t my first rodeo.

No, not this time. Some things shouldn’t be public or even common knowledge. I find that applies much less frequently than other folks think it should, and I typically prefer transparency. This isn’t one of those times.
