The health care cost reduction provision would have triggered a "me too" in the mechanics contract, and probably every other contract too. I can see where AAG would have had some heartburn over that.

Then envoy can give us a bonus check of equal amount for our use as we see fit. No more problem

The social media blitz that’s to follow will destroy the airline. 3) Group can exercise their get out of jail card and end the flow. Between mainline lawsuits against MX and the impending ALPA lawsuit - well, you finish the sentence.

It is not the responsibility of this pilot group to subsidize other labor groups by limiting themselves because management was stupid enough to negotiate a “me too” clause in their contract. It’s long overdue for this “Association” leadership to turn their backs on any further assistance to management in solving their self-inflicted conundrums.
Let them sink or swim on their own.

I encourage all here to watch the Frontline piece called The Battle for Eastern Airlines on YouTube. Aside from the obvious destination when management and labor end up in intractable warfare, a couple of additional noteworthy observations. First, in one clip you’ll notice a certain present political figure standing behind Lorenzo who participated in the breakup of the carrier for personal gain and second, Borman uses a phrase we have heard since from Parker;
“The world has changed”.
It’s a rationalization used by a common mindset who has no ethical concern for labor with a predictable destination.

As I said, at the beginning of this thread and now,
it is obvious management did it again.
• Envoy Management, Union Busters!
“...they are engaged in an effort to turn the pilots against their representatives in a desperate attempt at union busting.”
Frank Lorenzo Part II
• Nothing new here, they are still working together...just setting up the stage, so at the end, when they agree to the pay raises with concessions...both, MEC and Envoy Management will look good. Just out of the playbook. Give it another 120 days, when the MEC Chairman flows. Now that MEC showed what they are willing to accept. Time to reshuffle and play again.
ENY MEC & Envoy Management,
Working & Staying in Unity
Get ready for 2021...the PP and the 1011 will flow, hope you are in one of these two groups.

This “union” was busted long ago. It truly is now just an “Association”. That in itself is a major rationalization for those who simply presently and temporarily preside over decisions to continue the cycle believing that it’s just a blip in their careers. A half dozen or so pilots in that group, but if not for almost 2,000 meek, apathetic lambs also looking away, it wouldn’t be successful.
Long, consistent history here which again, makes the future very predictable. Look what just happened.........convince me I’m wrong. The flow through has just been the component that solidified the hopeless impotence of this pilot group as it will always be the perceived pot of gold for too many who are willing to sacrifice all else in the hope it appears at the end of the false rainbow for them too.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always gotten..........and so it shall be.

I don’t add groups, but your union did. MEC took care of the 1011 group, so they could advertise improvements on flow. Now PP and 1011 should be all out by the end of 2020. ALPA didn’t do anything for the next group. Anybody outside the 1011 group, I would seriously wonder why?
“...the company included it's intent to continue discussions...”
The door is open, and concessions will arrive when the time is right. They are still working together & In Unity.
Ain’t over yet. And that’s guaranteed!
Just out the Playbook. Tic,Toc...
