Only facts here Brah. No hype, no spin, no con, no B.S., no smoke, no crap, no garbage. Sorry this fries your cable, but that's life. Nice try at hoping to garner a little credibility, but IMO EPIC fail.
Have you not even compared the retirement numbers, with the pilots out on medical, line check airmen and those on SA or in the training academy? If you did so, you would see that MY number minus all of the combined statuses above equal out to close to the 13,400 range. EPIC fail sub 100 Q. You just spout off a bunch of stuff like they are FACTS here when you really have no idea. Do you not even know that vacancy bids are offered only to actively bidding pilots? More proof you don't work there anymore.

It is YOU that has comprehension problems. If you go back to my post #29, you'll see my info was that there would be a reduction of CA/FO positions. That was based on info I got and from sources FAR, FAR more credible then you. Now, I admitted they could be wrong in subsequent posts which you gloss over simply to attempt to highlight your supposed credibility. That's a major difference between us....I make no claims of perfection, whereas you do. My statements in post #31 are solid, the only question being we may be arguing two different metrics in pilot staffing possibly equaling the same thing. As for me working "there", you mean "here" don't you. That's what someone who DOES work at AA would say, yes ?

Perhaps it is YOU that is "spouting" a bunch of B.S. as after all, it's a FACT you are an admitted liar. Again, I've gone from the old folks home to the galley and now back to the street and you are all over the place again. But, let's get back to facts. IS or IS NOT the flow stopping next month ?

    Well...………...we're waiting.

Aa is not going to hire a replacement pilot for everyone retiring. How hard is that to understand.

Correct. YOY 2019-2020 AA is growing it's fleet. They will have to hire more than those that are retiring.

Where is the 15,570 number coming from? As of today?

15k number includes everyone on medical, military orders, SA, training center, etc. Ignore what these guys say. They just put out a bunch of false info to go along with their narrative.

Last info I had showed virtual stagnation in forward looking fleet numbers. Yes, in theory they would have to hire AT LEAST enough to offset retirements, but they are falling well short in ability to train them. Considering AA’s theoretical substantially increased numbers going forward, AA is likely to fail further jeopardizing the operation and especially future QWL (what little there is of it) of pilots.

Added numbers to try and offset training/check airman issues and counts ? Word is scheduling is regressing as they increase number of pilots on reserve.

All I am saying this is only half the story....find the other half and you will see the Big Picture.
Clue: don’t asume, find all the facts. In order to draw a conclusion you must have ALL facts, not just a few.

Thank you. Nice to have some posting truth vs the alternative facts brigade here. As I stated BEFORE. 15.3/15.4 pilots on the seniority list currently. It's not dropping except for retirements who are being replaced with flows and OTS.

AA only updates DECS once a year. Those are DECS numbers. No where near the actual numbers. That number will drop by ~1000 when AA updates their numbers this summer. That's due to the retirements, etc. Others on here will claim shrinkage.

I'm being told APA updates with more frequency.

If you take some time(a lot of time), and do a good research, not only you will see the shrinkage, you will see when, how and why the flow will stop. ONLY then, after you have ALL facts, you will be able to draw a conclusion. Until then is just a hypothesis based on “rumors”, “I’m been told”, “a Captain said”....and the illusion that AA is growing by others.

Analyze the data then draw a conclusion.
It takes time and a lot of reading.
Don’t let anybody or rumors dictate your path.

    You are your greatest asset.
    Good Luck My Friend.
