Any news on the future of Compass airlines and any other regionals? When does Compassí contract expire? Are there plans to reduce non-wholly owned flying and/or grow the 3 wholly owned regionals?

Americanís American Eagle team is working to align mainline and regional customer experience so that customers have a consistent and seamless experience when flying both American and American Eagle. As part of this objective, American Eagle will continue to have a mix of wholly-owned and affiliate partners. Over the last year American has elected to not renew three carriers Ė Air Wisconsin, TransStates, and ExpressJet Ė and for now American is comfortable with their mix of our wholly-owned and affiliate partners.

As you know, the CPZ contract is up very early next year. It's no secret AAG wants those planes with Envoy. AAG needs the 70+ seat lift with First Class on the west coast. Those birds aren't going anywhere in terms of where they operate out of. It's just the operator who drives them is going to change. You are correct that AA is cutting way back on the regional partners. If they had their druthers, they would let ENY, PDT and PSA do everything.

Sure thing. We only have masses of pipeline guys fighting each other to get in. With the addition of these birds, you have a sweet fleet plan.

Too late for pipeline/RTPís envoy is having some serious staffing issues, they will offer/hire compass pilots,(street Captains, and experience FOís) on the spot. Now letís see how many accept bottom of the list. Or they manipulate date of hire which will bring down a lot of our FOís with less than 6 years at the company(not good). But thatís what Business Express pilots got. Letís see ALPA at work.

Are these violent incidents being used against them for the flow ? From what I hear, Envoy pilots are essentially indentured servitude when it comes to the flow and must straighten up and fly right for their tenure at Envoy. One hiccup and no soup for you ! Are these just one-on-one assaults or has there been large scale rioting among multiple Envoy pipe-hitters ? I hope itís not occurring in that long line at the Envoy school house door as the media might get footage of that for the evening news. Pounding on the glass to get in is one thing, but public rioting is something else.

Management decides what a hiccup is, not common sense nor anything quantifiable. That in turn, is its true effectiveness. I think he must have been a true "team player", kept his mouth shut and always asked "How high ?", when asked to jump.

They want 70+ seats with first class? How about 190ís in lax and let mainline do the flying. Win win for everyone
