Sorry DaDouche.... AA just ain’t a better lifestyle at all. I do no more than 8 legs a month with my RON time off in Vegas or Honolulu... I’m on permanent vacation. Never have a trip with less than two nights sleep after a single flight.

Once the kid kid is out of school, the wife and he are coming to work with me. We get the Vegas hotel the whole duty block, even the days we’re in Honolulu, so if I can’t get them on both the flights out and back, they can just stay in Vegas the 2-4 days. A few other guys do the same with their families.

Anybody flying into Vegas this week, give me a shout.

PS - But we do have in range calls for 25-35 wheelchairs on each flight it seems....
So I guess that wasn't you I parked next to in KWI last night.

Most junior B767 CA upgrade now 1 year 9 months. Then it’s $225 as a junior CA. 12 year CA is $297.
Im 35 guys away from the most junior CA. Time to start studying it looks like.

Got my schedule for next month. 17 days. First and last are reserve days. 8 flights in the middle 15 days. 13 hard days off and 2 reserve days at home, for 15 at home total. Between flights are days off in either Las Vegas or Honolulu. My schedule always has two nights sleep after each flight. Yep, I’m on permanent paid vacation. Love my “job.”

    Don’t miss commuting
    Don’t miss crashpads
    Don’t miss 3-4 leg days
Don’t miss short overnights and crappy schedules
Don’t miss DP’s management style or team
    Don’t miss Jerry Glass
    Don’t miss standby travel

Do miss flying with some really great friends.

The real question is do you miss the AA sugar water spout that was hanging in front of your face always seeming to be at the same distance from your whiskers no matter how fast you ran the Envoy wheel ?

Nope. I routinely compare my schedules and stuff with guys that flowed around the time I came here. I also compare with a few guys who flowed well before me. The only guys with a possibly better deal are the ones living in Base. I say possibly because they still work way more flights than I do. I fly one leg and then have two nights in that city, rinse and repeat going the other direction. My earliest departure is 9am, my latest arrival is 1030pm. Guys commuting are away from home more than me, often commuting on days off and buying their own hotel or crashpad.
As for missing Envoy? You must be joking.

    heres next months schedule.

OMG puhleeeze! Enough of your mindless banter about how *&^% great your job is. We know it is just Little Man's Disease manifesting itself in your posts about your employer since you aren't big enough to fly AA metal.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but AA is not the best job out there anymore. Everybody seems to know that except you. Your brainwashing is obvious, either that or you just can’t get a job elsewhere. Which is it?

I’ll take my no stress job and lifestyle over the abuse of AAG any day. Another thing, in our segment of the industry we don’t even have any real competition.

“Big” enough to fly AA metal ? LOL !

I’ve met that standard and from my POV, size has nothing to do with it. “AA metal” is no different then any other metal..........well, unless you consider compensation, QWL and treatment, then in that case AA metal is actually that which requires something quite small.

Which, of course is why you are suited for it. Now, if you really want metal that requires something “big”, one need not look further then the E-175, the crown jewel of Envoy. It takes some BIG stones to fly that bird, yes ?

2 of 3. They’re getting ready to put the Rockwell Flat Screen panel conversion displays in the 200’s first, then the Sentinel birds. Gen pop 300’s get the panel upgrades last. I get the non-cpdlc bird on the Vegas flying pretty often. Here’s what the panel mod looks like.
