Which one are you at, Atlas or Swift? I just donít know how secure youíd be at Swift during the next downturn. Atlas will be around but that contract has to happen this decade!

I didn't interview there. I applied when I was unexpectedly job hunting and looking for any port in a storm; and they called by phone several months later after I was deep into ground school elsewhere. I wasn't leaving training for just an interview. The old bird in hand worth two in the bush thing..... If you heard otherwise, they're mistaken.

PenAir went Bankrupt and closed the base. Commuting to Alaska wasn’t that appealing. Via was after that, and yes, I did like it there very much.

That Cargo flying you're discussing is scheduled known flying, isn't it? Pilots should get something for allowing outsourced scheduled known flying.

I don't know any PAX haulers that get paid when their own planes go down unscheduled and the airline gets a fill-in to keep the flight going. Do you?
Several airlines rebook PAX onto other carriers flights daily for things like MX cancelations.

Atlas does, we won a grievance over it.

You won a grievance over a PAX unscheduled flight that Atlas was scheduled to do, but the Atlas plane broke, so it got outsourced? Shoot me a copy of your scope section. That is a pretty big win if accurate. I think Atlas will be a great place once the fight ends and a CBA gets finalized. It’s just going to take a while longer. They’re starting to advertise for ink wet ATP’s... or was that the Southern side?

We’re doing a little fill in flying for the 737 max too.... some airlines want to keep their passengers going from A to B rather than cancel flights and use it for a lower purchase price later....
