Which one are you at, Atlas or Swift? I just donít know how secure youíd be at Swift during the next downturn. Atlas will be around but that contract has to happen this decade!

I didn't interview there. I applied when I was unexpectedly job hunting and looking for any port in a storm; and they called by phone several months later after I was deep into ground school elsewhere. I wasn't leaving training for just an interview. The old bird in hand worth two in the bush thing..... If you heard otherwise, they're mistaken.

What storm? I thought you loved your previous employer. They furloughed?

PenAir went Bankrupt and closed the base. Commuting to Alaska wasn’t that appealing. Via was after that, and yes, I did like it there very much.

Are you getting paid for flying the company outsources? UPS and Fedex do.

That Cargo flying you're discussing is scheduled known flying, isn't it? Pilots should get something for allowing outsourced scheduled known flying.

I don't know any PAX haulers that get paid when their own planes go down unscheduled and the airline gets a fill-in to keep the flight going. Do you?
Several airlines rebook PAX onto other carriers flights daily for things like MX cancelations.

Atlas does, we won a grievance over it.

You won a grievance over a PAX unscheduled flight that Atlas was scheduled to do, but the Atlas plane broke, so it got outsourced? Shoot me a copy of your scope section. That is a pretty big win if accurate. I think Atlas will be a great place once the fight ends and a CBA gets finalized. It’s just going to take a while longer. They’re starting to advertise for ink wet ATP’s... or was that the Southern side?

We’re doing a little fill in flying for the 737 max too.... some airlines want to keep their passengers going from A to B rather than cancel flights and use it for a lower purchase price later....

    Street Captains being hired.
    6000TT
    2000 PIC
    Must meet 121 upgrade minimums

apparently they've focused heavily on Military guys and none have upgrade mins. We’re doing street captains rather than forced upgrades.

Internal upgrade mins are 2 years, 3000 TT, 500 on type.

adding 3 more 767’s this year, one has already entered service.

we’re DOS+1 now and go to DOS+2 in April 2020

Still trying to apply lipstick to this pig? Seriously. A rock bottom ACMI outfit hiring street captains should tell you all you need to know. If the place was so good, they wouldn't be hiring street captains.

Envoy also hires street captains, so shouldn’t that also tell pilots something they should know?

Just doing some cursory math according to the pay scale tables Cujo included, a pilot going there today and realistically spending 3 years as an F/O and 6.5 years as a captain, they'd pocket well over 1.6 million based on 75 hours/month. I used that 9.5 years as a benchmark as that's how long its apparently going to take to get to AA for these pilots and where will they have gotten to after almost a decade? A floundering LCC that has lost its way, mired in debt and with the worst pilot relations in the industry among its peers (QWL to boot). They'd also be at the bottom of a 15,000 pilot senioirty list having watched all that precious job protecting seniority pass them by in the interim. I don't have the latest Envoy pay scales, but I'll bet a pilot who chose to shoot craps almost a decade waiting to be number 15,000 at "Shaky Airways" will have a substantially thinner wallet to show for all that risk vs. choosing Cujo's carrier as their pathway. 1.6 million for 9.5 years of flying ain't bad and that 767 experience is more likely to get you to Delta or United if that's your goal, provided you're young enough (<40) vs. all that RJ time, crown jewel included.

He presented some facts with which to at least consider one's options whereas you have once again done nothing but just given us all another pointless horn blast from your outflow valve.

We hire street captains because we do not do forced upgrades. Letting it go to street captains also opens all sorts of cross fleet bidding options. There are many here who can upgrade, myself included, who choose QOL over the pay.
