    Tool of the day

Ran across this gem on APC.
I wonder where this little sh!t got the idea that he is an AA pilot?

Had an Envoy jumpseater today. He was a young kid, mid 20s who came in and said he was AA. I asked for his docs and his badge said Envoy. I asked was he AA or Envoy. His reply was Envoy is wholly owned by AA. I then asked what he was flying and he said 175. Quite arrogant but was sitting in the back so OK, whatever.

What type of kool aid are you guys pumping into these kids?

Not defending the arrogance, but we are listed under AA in CASS, so from that angle...

Ok, so if the gate agent canít find it without you saying look it up as AA, you tell them that. Telling the Cockpit Crew that youíre an AA pilot is on a level of doucheyness that is right up there with our resident Towne Crier.

"He was a young kid, mid 20s who came in and said he was AA". Maybe someday he will fly with my Number #1 "DO NOT PAIR" CA. Sounds like a marriage made in a Frankenstein Family went through bankruptcy/divorce court and this kiddo popped out. We shall call him - "Son of AMR!".

He checked in as American because he IS American. Question. When they ran his CASS, did they do it under Envoy? Or American?

    Enough said.

If you want to know who the tool here is, then look no further than the "Captain" making a big deal over this. As someone else said, he needs to get over himself. He's flying for an LCC. Likely just jealous that such a young guy was AA and he wasn't.

Dacuj, I fell you are an unstable and could possibly be a hindrance in an emergency, you are not allowed to jumpseat on my aircraft you buffoon.

Your required to check in with the captain if you are riding in the back on a jumpseat priviledge, aag policy and FAA policy. The idiot presented himself as an AA pilot, with no AA documentation to prove that, he is lucky the captain did not call security on him and throw him off. But we can go back to one jumpseat per flight versus unlimited if you would like. Or was that you pulling that stunt calling yourself an aa pilot still at envoy.

When he presents his employee credentials to the captain for inspection, does his company badge say “American Airlines” on it or “Envoy Air” ?

    Enough said.

FYI. If you work for Envoy (or any WO) and check in for the jumpseat on an AA aircraft, and say you're with AA, you're getting off the plane. AA pilots won't put up with this. There are multiple discussions on this in multiple places. You're an Envoy pilot. Just admit it. Don't lie or you're being removed from the AA flight.

I'd say 99% of the pilot group has no delusions that they're regional pilots and not AA.
