but with Compass pilots. How? Ask your union.

Hint: they donít know either. Company keeps playing our union.

    Developing story.

First question, when planes start coming back?
Second, when do we start flying through lax from dfw and ord?
Third, union being played is common place on this property, cant get a straight forward looking plan from them.
Fourth, compass pilots if come, they come as per our contract. Envoy is not buying compass, so any pilot that comes can stay in current seat, get envoy seniority at bottom as per cba with 5 year lock in being able to bid out.
    Past precedent.

Is ďFourthĒ a known and confirmed fact or simply a desirable position ?

I canít see many Compass pilots willing to come over to Envoy in seat or not, not only junior in their seats being perpetual reserve, but at the bottom of the Envoy seniority list. I would expect Envoy would just get mostly aircraft under that scenario. Of course, that sets up a staffing and training problem unless the transition is very gradual. I assume under such a situation, Compass would just let normal attrition occur as their planes are moved to Envoy.

I donít have the latest fleet/scope info for AA, but the mainline fleet is contracting putting more pressure on the Eagle Networkís fleet. As for mergers, if and when one occurs that involves Envoy, itís a virtual certainty any pilots from another airline that merges with Envoy will get full flow access based on the final ISL. That might mean more delay for legacy Envoy pilots, especially junior.

Question is what is our union willing to sell to give relief to the company on compass pilots coming over? Increase flow......?

Until thereís some credible substance to this, Iíll put it in the same category as ďheard it from a flight attendantĒ.

I donít know where you can reference in writing the actual contract specifics. I was told 2020 directly from management. And youíre right, Compass guys will tell you they have several more years left. If the contract is indeed up in 2020 and if AAG does plan to transfer them, Iíd imagine weíd hear something by summer at the latest. Multiple members of management, including Ric in his latest crew room visit, have confirmed that the planes will be coming. But just like anything with AAG, everything is dynamic. One of those donít believe it until you see it.

    All that stuff is NDAíd.

The only people that really know canít or wonít say.

But what has been said is that itís up in 2020 with the option to extend another 3 years. So Iím sure the compass guys are being told itís another 3 years.

Well in that case, with the possible force extension by compass, wave bye bye to those planes.
RW can say they are coming here. But if they come here in 10 years, was RW lying. Nope.

That seems to sound very familiar to me, not that I could actually confirm it if it were completely true....

I could, and would, tell you if something were completely untrue.
