    Slowhand, I'm simply stating that an RTP guy is taking up a spot for a super qualified pipeline CFI. We know what happens when RTP guys get here. They get "their 121 time" and bail. We don't need that or the attitudes some of them bring onto the property. The pipeline hires are some of the best Envoy has ever seen and the only reason I brought up my background initially months ago is to show that I have skin in the game when making the above statement.
    But that’s the point you cannot grasp. When it comes to anything Military, you DON’T have “skin in the game”. You never served. That was his point too. You’re going to administer a “beatdown” to me in public (insofar as this forum’s members are concerned), yet ?

    LOF’nL !

    Buddy, we are ALREADY here in that respect and that has yet to occur. Alright, I’ll ask yet again in my best Judge Smails impersonation;

    Well.......we’re waiting ?

    Speaking of AA V DAL -> We were fully catered with Delta items yesterday (mainline). Coffee cups, snacks, ear buds. Everything. I told the skipper and he laughed. Catering only had Delta products.

    Going for Great on a 737 near you!

    ...or instead of “KDA” (Kick Delta’s A**), it’s now UDS (Use Delta’s Stuff). Bet Delta charged AA an arm and a leg for it like the astute business they are. Heck, they even get free advertising to boot !

    Can’t imagine the irony of that wasn’t noticed by the pax. I’ll bet it’s on social media somewhere. But, looking deeper everyone should be concerned what the real message is. I’m hearing situations similar to this are becoming more frequent, even common. Sad to see a once great airline becoming what it now appears to be becoming and everyone dependent on it loses when this happens.

    Awaiting the arrival of the hardware so it can be installed along with power ports in the cabin for passengers. Switching the whole fleet eventually from GoGo to the new provider.

    Take this with a grain of salt. From what I’ve been hearing from a semi reliable source in maintenance, they want to not only have a couple planes worth of parts, but also a few more planes stateside so there are extra frames and the schedule will not be adversely affected. Once those conditions are met they’ll start the installation. They know the first one or two will take longer since these things are new. Plus, the Feds are most likely going to be right there to watch which will slow things down a bit more.

    I am sure what you say could be true.
    Is it not funny that these new aircraft did not come from Brazil already set up.

    I was under the impression that the GoGo set up was installed in the other aircraft post delivery in ABI.
