Is the line out the front door so long that they’re not going to the career fairs they used to go to?

Yup. They are lined up from the front doors at Regent Blvd to the Louisiana state line. The pipeline guys only want Envoy and Envoy is getting the cream. Gobs of apps just to get in here from fresh CFIs. Many end up Gold Seal as well. It is the best, most experienced cadre of pilots Envoy has ever seen. Far, far better than the days when guys were Chapparal and flying the Shorts. A mainline 175 awaits the new hires of today. A new hire today will upgrade as soon as they have the required time and flow to AA just a few years after. It's a great time to be an Envoy pilot.

Only the best? You mean guys that have been fired by every airline they have worked at? Yup Envoy hired a street CA that has been fired by no less than 4 airlines and had job offers rescinded by at least 3 airlines.

Dacuj, if you want to compare flying abilities between your cadets and the chaparral / shorts drivers your on.
Only one thing your cadets know that is AP.

The “cream”? You mean like the AAG gravy that’s dripping from the corners of your mouth?

"most experienced cadre of pilots Envoy has ever seen." "Fog a mirror" and "Has a Heartbeat" come to mind.

Unfprtunately comments like that are just indicitave of extreme ignorance.

Honestly, would you rather have an experienced, young CFI, or some old grumpy guy that says, " Well, this is the way we did it at Chapparal." That is the exact problem that exists at Envoy now. A bunch of lifer hangers on that want to do it their way. Envoy would be far, far better if the lifers could be flushed and the entire pilot corps could be made up of nothing but pipeline CFIs.

Hard to face but those are the facts.

Your an idiot. Those highly trained cfi cadets cant talk on radio, cant get clearance over radio, cant f'n fly the aircraft, the plane is passing 3000 and they are still on the ground.
You but head are a useless appendage.
Go back watch a e175 video and get all wet as you usually do

I'm pretty sure everyone here is aware that when they were passing out brains, you thought they said trains and headed for the depot. Perhaps you should get with nootpilot. The two of you should work on creating one sentence together. You may or may not make it happen.

I will give you two a little assignment. Start out with the first three words of your post. When you guys figure out what is wrong, get back to me.

How many “old grumpy guys” who worked for Chaparral or other former Eagle carriers are left ? A fraction. In fact, there are far more newer, younger pilots at Envoy, so it’s a head scratcher why our forum jester thinks this is an issue. Of course, I DO see why he would like a non-union environment where pilots could be “flushed” simply because he has an ax to grind against them, but that’s to be expected of a blue-ribbon management lackey. I’ve always wondered where his seething hatred of “lifers” from original Eagle carriers has come from and I’ve concluded a few are responsible (correctly) for some of his many failed check-rides, especially former Chaparral pilots.

So then, what’s YOUR excuse for all of your insanely fragmented and illogical posts made which anyone can go back and highlight for reposting ?

    Excessive alcohol consumption?
PTSD from your phony, pretend military battles clouded in smoke from blank rounds ?
    Abject immaturity ?

    All of the above ?

250 hours without even a Commercial license ? (250 hours or a Commercial Certificate).

Hear Ye, Hear Ye...........calling all Private Pilots, calling all Private Pilots !

The pool is not only drying up, it is dry. These bottom feeders are now scraping the bottom of the barrel. Envoy is the next level up the food chain and their “Pipeline’s” will be insufficient for its needs in the coming years and it will be in dire straits. That means AAG will have no one to staff future larger RJ’s considering industry retirements leading to high Envoy attrition in the future.

Where will they get pilots to fly the future “small jet” division be it within AA or at Eagle ? There are several options, one of which very junior AA pilots won’t like. That’s of course assuming the timing of the next global economic downturn doesn’t torpedo AA first forcing management to visit their old friend in New York causing even more woe on AA pilots and their wannabes at Envoy and elsewhere.

I’d rather have a grumpy gummer than some of the younger guys and gals that were forced to upgrade. There’s a whole lot of silly little mistakes happening daily that wouldn’t be if it weren’t for the lack of experience. Middle management’s job has become twice as busy as of late with tracking down crews, and scheduling meetings with the Union Reps and Lawyers.
But you already know of all this, right Spooge?

If the trend of this is increasing, one can only wonder how long before the risk exposure camel’s back breaks and Murphy’s law bill must be paid ? The liability aspects could be both reputationally and financially devastating.

I can fly with both but what I really want is someone who understands how to fly, is confident in their abilities and can work in a team environment under high workload conditions.

We had smoke in The back on takeoff a while back and I went through the whole memory item procedure only to look at the fo and realized he was frozen. I had to tell him to get his mask on and that was all he was able to do.
