US crude prices have crashed more than 40% since hitting four-year highs above $76 a barrel in October. Brent crude, is now trading near its lowest level since August 2017.

Shares of American Airlines Group AAL slipped to a 52-week low...

American Airlines has struggled with low bottom-line growth for the most part of 2018...

Apart from fuel prices, high labor costs are also weighing on the company’s earnings. With airline employees agitating over low pay scales, labor deals are very much in vogue in the industry.

Pilots at American Airlines are planning to amend the existing contract (inked in 2015) before it becomes due for renewal in early 2020. To this end, the union (APA) has asked the company to commence negotiations in January 2019 for a fresh contract including an improved pay structure.

However, additional costs from it might affect the company’s earnings.

DP is fit to lead a conga line at a frat house kegger. Maybe a group lushes in a rousing rendition of Louie Louie, but thatís the maximum. This isnít America West and his parlor tricks arenít working. How the board hasnít replaced him astounds me. Lure Richard Anderson over from Amtrak and have him fix this place. He did wonders at Delta before he left.

Somebody once told me that Dougie was married to the daughter of Frank Lorenzo. While I donít know the veracity of that statement, it sure would seem to explain some things.

Good debrief about a typical AA flight. Good thing the paychecks keep coming. I seem to be at "the other" table during the Animal House fraternity rush party.

Been saying this ad nauseum for months, if not years now. Parker and his “team leaders” are tone deaf and have blinders on. The employees are just going through the motions and have zero motivation and believe they are being taken advantage of and disregarded.

Wave bye-bye to Delta, United and Southwest at the very least. They’ve left the building.

Did everyone notice your bonus money was reduced from 300 max per quarter to 275 max. Penny pinching nickle and dime operation.
Everyone gets paid more except here because we have flow to the next b.k. filing.

The agenda is clear, is just a matter of time. Tic-Toc.

Word around the campfire is an increasing number of training/checking events are being cancelled due to lack of check airman and Sim P’s. Considering the number of pilots AA will need to not just hire, but train in the coming years, it’s easy to see this as yet another red flag (in addition to the plethora of other red flags) that will be a component in the unraveling of AA. It’s increasingly looking like no one is in the pilot’s seat at this airline.

Your point is what, did aa get profit sharing with their last contract should be a better question, answer no.

While technically correct, you're still incorrect. I believe APA got profit sharing outside their Section 6 along with a 6-8% pay bump. Give credit where it's due. Otherwise you lose creditability. There are some good things happening around here (AAG). Yes Envoy is stagnant in the contract improvements. But until new bodies stop showing up, that will continue.
