If it's 75, where will class be held? Mine was 50 and the G auditorium was near capacity (maybe only a few seats left).

If 50 from envoy, then we are losing over 80 pilots in just one month. Ouch!!!

Ha ha.....won't be 50. Just the minimum 29 that management has to flow.

Perhaps the MEC will negotiate a new deal for pilots willing to go above and beyond the call of duty by joining Envoy’s New-Hire P.R. (Pilot Relations) Dept. ? Say......for every pilot recruited by another pilot, one month taken off your projected flow date. It would require a second separate seniority list for flow to AA, but that shouldn’t be a problem as the MEC has already nullified Envoy Pilot seniority with the Cadet program and the restrictions on lateral bidding.

There are 30 Envoy flows in the 12/11 class. Not sure what the total class size is.

Informed by the fleet manager for the airbus program. He’s trying to get ready for the additional influx. Just passing along the info.

They will never get ahead unless they do schedule reduction and have everyone fly 18 days a month.

Already done or at least well on the way.

Supposedly, a significant schedule reduction has or is about to occur and most pilots are flying near that metric. In fact, LARGE numbers of pilots at AA fly Premium (150%), Make Up (straight pay) and “OG” (Over Guarantee for reserves) just so AA can even fly their schedule now. If those pilots stopped this practice, AA’s ops would collapse overnight and it would be an instantaneous catastrophe. Regular reserves in many statuses are bent over 120 degrees most reserve days and are worked to near maximum MMAX (Monthly Max). They’ve gotten cotton mouth from all the carpet fibers and their anuses are swollen, sore and tattered. It’s the “new” AA where QWL and a “contract” are subjective at the whims of management and scheduling. Envoy flows will feel right at home upon transition.

When it comes to AA’s scheduling ops, pilot QWL and contractual respect, just like Envoy, “The Emperor has no clothes”.

Too many regional pilots at AA, they don’t have the guts to stand in unity.
As a matter of fact, APA now wants to help the company...sounds familiar?

“Pilot union says it wants to help reduce delays on American“

APA has been carrying AA management’s water for years. 2nd biggest string of pack mules in the industry behind Envoy ALPA. AA pilots will get what Parker and Isom are willing to give them next contract. Flows are at the bottom of that hill and we all know what rolls downhill. Yes, it’s a definite move up from Envoy, but AA will never be Delta or United for pilots, rather more in line with Spirit, Jet Blue and Allegiant. The jets are shiny, but boy is the debt (and the payments) big.

I was willing to get bent over last month on reserve but flew one two day trip THE WHOLE MONTH while wasting away in a crash pad.
