This video got over 15000 views in less than 10 hours since published. Seems like he has a big crowd of followers.
It seems like his videos are blessed by Envoy, a great tool for recruitment.

They have to be blessed by Envoy, they are MADE by Envoy. Part 91 flights were used and filming like that requires pre-approval by management. Ummm..........let’s just say it’s not unheard of for entities using YouTube as a sales tool to jack up the viewer count and even go so far as seeding it with positive comments. “Fake News” isn’t just for politics.

Welcome to the world of Social Media exploitation.

Will he do a video telling about reserve life sitting endless airport standby? Or commuting to 4am rap while having less then 24 hours at home and 11 days off?

He made videos about Mokulele airlines and over glorified it. I know 3 people who worked there and said he made it appear better than it was and when pilots realized it was not what he made it out to be, they quit.

Word has it when he came for IOE he presented a note from a member of management saying that he was allowed to film. The captain told him too bad.

IMO, he won’t fly the line for long. He’s headed straight for a management slot, probably in PR and will be allowed to displace another on a cherry trip to maintain currency. The displacee will probably get reassigned to garbage.

Couldn’t blame him. A potential minefield of liability for zero payoff.

Somebody tell the kid to stop moving his head so much while talking. It’s like a bobble head... distracting. Nice production.

    The straight ones anyway.
The “others” will hold out hope that they will one day get hired at envoy and have the opportunity to fly with Swayne.
(Not that there’s anything wrong with that)

Unlikely. He appears to actually enjoy flying. My guess is that he will work hard, build flight time, network heavily, apply for a check airman slot, and beat most to AA.

    I’m sure he enjoys flying since he’s invested this much and gotten to this point, but appearances are just that. To wit;

“Working hard and building flight time” ?

Well, I hear a lot of reports Envoy F/O’s are indeed working hard, but not in building flight time, at least compared to peers at competing regionals. Supposedly a large number of pilots are on reserve not flying much, but I have no doubt indeed working hard commuting, sitting in crash pads and hotels and perhaps working a second job.

    “Networking heavily” ?

Well, that’s already obvious to me as I think he’s definitely networked his way into the hearts and minds of your management shilling for the them for free to help bring in more behind him. But, maybe not for free and he will indeed get a reward by leapfrogging to AA quicker with no need to slug it out for many, many years waiting for flow for a job well done ? So if that is what it takes to “beat most to AA”, that’s not good for the 99% in the Charlie Bucket line waiting for their golden ticket to the largest LCC in the world whose pilots rank 6th at best in the U.S. pilot compensation/QWL metric. Most of those others not twirling and dancing like that get no end run to AA.

We all know that a good and loyal lapdog gets petted more then one not so compliant and eager to please. I have no doubt his Envoy experience will be much more pleasant than most.

Yet another post demeaning a young aviator for doing a good job and actually being proactive about things. He joined Envoy because it's the quickest path to AA. His social media connects with the young guys out there which happen to be 99% of our pipeline guys. It's a win win. His posts document his time at Envoy and proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Envoy is the best place to be. Kudos to this guy. Wish they were all this motivated.

In other words he dances to the same tune you do and want others to, played by the band you represent.

    Gee.........what a revelation.

He proves the flow is for chumps as he won’t need it to get to AA. Problem is, most of the rest are Charlie Buckets counting days and doing time.
