Envoy Medical Insurance keeps increasing while SkyWest Pilots get 33% Pay Raises.
And no Union nearby to represent this Pilot Group.

Thatís the magic of the flow-thru. It keeps pilots looking FAR down the road at a distant supposedly juicy carrot so they pay little attention to whatís around them now......... and just what IS around Envoy pilots NOW ?

88% of the pilots voted that contract in back in 2013.

Not my words below. But. Very, very true.

All you flow haters are crazy. The flow is 100% worth it. If you really think it’s going to take a new hire 9 years to flow in this hiring environment you are out of your mind. Flow will have to be increased to keep up with AA’s hiring goals. Delta and United are just ramping up their hiring and attrition will continue to rise. I wouldn't be suprised if the entire envoy seniority list was gone in 5 years.

AA is having problem on keeping new hires on property. They are leaving for United, swa, delta, ups and FedEx. The largest LCC is unable to hold on to it's own new hires. Wonder why.

Actually it IS true. We had one person in my AA new hire class go to Delta in the middle of indoc. Managers say they do lose a few per month to other airlines, usually Delta or FedEX.

Number one, looking at your post history, it seems that you have been a huge embellisher of the truth. So, it's unlikely what you stated here happened. "A few leave each month." Yeah, right. However, if this did indeed happen, to each his own. But, you can't fix stupid. And I guess that would include you as well.

Again straight to the attack mode rather than explain the facts the previous poster made. You bet on aa flow and now it's like a lottery ticket that lost.

Consistency is a good metric to assist in validation good or bad. Yet another demonstration his empty personal attacks are essentially all he has and so he's VERY consistent and thus his credibility can be judged fairly accurately as equivalent to crap.

Its actually on track to flow everybody that was on property when that contract went into effect within the six years I said it would if they didn’t mess with it. I got called a waterboy for my efforts.

that said, others are correct. As the shortage worsens, flow becomes less valuable. It’s a nice backup to have for sure, and if AA is the target airline then ENY is a good choice. If the target isn’t AA, the flow is gradually becoming of less value. Especially for the low QOL and low wages.

In theory, it is a good “backup”, but under present circumstances a pilot should seriously question just how reliable that backup will be in the coming years. That’s my opinion anyway. I wish it looked completely differently, but like a car wreck, I simply can’t look away and pretend all is well.

So, honest question here. You're flyinalong flyinalong, and lets just say that you may have over indulged at the Bestest of Westerns hot breakfast and mixed it with too much black coffee and so there you are at FL370 and suddenly your PRSOV is about to be MEL fodder. How best to handle the situation - assuming the guy you are flying with not someone you hate.
    A) Sit in silence as your aromatic contribution wafts through the cockpit and bathe in the awkwardness of realizing both of you know what happened
    B) Apologize for whats about to happen, open all the airvents, maybe unwrap a few hand-wipes, and consider purchasing the first round on the overnight.
    C) Advise your colleague they may want to "ops-check" their oxygen mask
    D) Force a very rapid pace and intense conversation in hopes that it distracts them
    E) Other?

    Asking for a friend...

    What’s their seniority?

If they are senior, one option (E.) might be to ask them if they can bend down and look below your seat to see if they can spot your dropped pen. A near point blank discharge might just mean a faster flow to AA and isn’t that the whole point of Envoy ?

I always go with option A.

then start messing with the trash bin on the side and make some comment like: "dang some jackass last flight must of ate some time or something rotten and stashed their trash in the bin"
