AA’s key employees still under bankruptcy contracts (low competitive labor costs) and operating in a booming (for now) economy and this is the result ?

Could you imagine what happens when the economy tanks and/or some global, domestic or industry event impacts the airlines and especially AA for the negative ?

Naaahhhh. What could go wrong ? (Hands over ears) LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA.................

See ? All is well again.

Guess you are still not aware that Envoy has less than a 6 year flow to AA.

Wrong. It has been dropping like a rock. Just over the past 2 years it has dropped over 5 years. Next year you'll be looking at getting close to the 6 if not right at or below. Projections show exactly that. Why do you think there are advertisements on all pilot mediums touting the 6 year flow? Yeah, riddle me that one Batman.

Dacuj again demonstrates he's apparently on another planet. WHAT on God's Earth does the flow-thru have to do with AA solvency ?

You seem to think pulling the only string in your back is the answer for every ill facing AA. "Flow-thru.....Flow-thru....Flow-thru....Flow-thru...."

    Talk about being "weird"...........................Geesh !

Firstly this is irrelevant to the topic that the stock has fallen 26% YTD. Of course we are flowing as long as AA is hiring.

Secondly. You first stated it’s a six year flow above. Then 25 mins later you stated “Next year you'll be looking at getting close to the 6 if not right at or below”. So just to make sure I understand, right now it’s not six because next year is should be getting to 6. Is that right.

Thirdly. This topic is really about the current financial situation that is going on at AA. The pilots are getting ready to open contract talks and ask for the moon. Are they going to be able to negotiate overall improvements to the entire contract or just a zero sum gain?

Fourthly: I do not believe AA will furloughed though they might slow down hiring and shrink via attrition. But I do not believe they will stop completely

If you were a prospective recruit applying to Envoy and asked how long from hire date to flow through, you know the answer. Go over to APC and take a look at the ad regarding the 6 year flow. The flow is 6 years. Period.

Airline ads are gospel, is that what you’re saying ?

    Riiiiiiight...........

Besides, what do pie-eyed regional industry newbies know about the intricacies of the industry or Envoy’s history ? Most are too busy looking at 787 cockpit posters and fluttering around like butterflies in hopeful bliss.

Oh I get it. He meant to say that he believes someone hired today at Envoy MAY flow in perhaps as little as six years, not that someone hired six years ago is flowing now. Glad we cleared that up. Projections are like hearts and contracts, they are meant to be broken.

    Flow is currently 5 years? Weird. I'm a 10+ year pilot....still haven't been selected.
