120/ month, in the summer no less? I’ll believe it when I see it.

The 50% was garbage anyways, they were always going to meter to 25.

Well, it would make a great arbitration position to have gotten a better number than 29. 50% but may withhold to 25 for company needs, still means those other slots were owed. The first implication being a catch up would have to be done to meet the 50%. Their own career advertising for recruiting was for 50%. The flow language is written by month whereas AA hires by classes that change size each month.

50% of the 120 new hires woukd have been 60 flows. Retirements at AA are about to go way up. 29 per class would have been the right change, subject to 50%.... meaning if the class only had 40, we’d send 20... if it had 60, we’d send 29. Doing 29 per month was a gift to the company.

Just think the company was given a free pass on it.

told the MEC and lawyers this would be misinterpreted as written, the lawyers insisted they had all the detailed passes back and forth with all the change notes to clearly show the meaning and intent..... yet the MEC chose to settle for 29 rather than fight for what was agreed to. Only Neal agreed that this was crappy language. We see what happened to those willing to fight the company.

You think the “current” AA can do 120 a month? I don’t.

They should be able to, but the new management has screwed that department as well.

The only months AA is planning on hiring more than 80/mo are the months with three Tuesdays. For example, October. Tuesday’s are the start day for classes

    This is per D Tatum.
