    So what can we do?

    Sadly, nothing.

For the pilots above and below the protected pilots...get involved...because the PP’s already gave up on you.

That’s been the case for the past two decades at just about every regional.

Why is the Union bring up various withholding scenarios that have played out over the last few years.

What was the story of the 125’s?

They don’t do much training in the summer over here with the schedule. Mostly recurrent etc. till after the summer. Same as our vacancy bids.

The participation in this union is what is weak. We need to come together and communicate our needs to both Union and management. Get on it!

120/Month ? What's your source ? If so, that would put Envoy pilots at a new disadvantage as Envoy can (and is) limiting the flow to bare minimum numbers and that's a lot of lost seniority that will add up over the years.

It’s too late to do a thing. Our do nothing MEC just agreed to 29 a month ......remember. Therefore they won’t fight for anything. “We don’t want to do anything to rock the boat”. Afraid to speak up and risk their own flow. So nothing will change. Accept it- without lube.... no one volunteers anymore to make a difference, so until people step up and start to make changes, nothing will change.

Nothing new here...”the same move have been done before by the company.” “Old Play Book”

Maybe the “125 Story” will repeat again.

So true. Every time this company negotiates anything that looks like it will benefit the pilots, the next month they change something that voids the gain that they gave us.

They know their future plans and play our union like a fiddle. They knew that AA was going to increase classes and negotiate our little gem knowing that it wasn't going to mean sh!t the next day, but they got their relieve on the PSI and flow grievances etc.

Your MEC is so springloaded to assist management, it has become their first instinct now. As such, they are extremely unlikely to see future pitfalls. Nothing will change until something happens to the flow and your Association reps then see the importance of negotiating improvements for where they are now as opposed to more parachutes with prettier colors to get them somewhere else. Unless line pilots demand contractual improvements as opposed to flow improvements from their reps, get used to the gerbil wheel.

Maybe it’s time to join APA.

APA is little different then Envoy ALPA. While they haven't neutered themselves to the degree Envoy pilots union has and haven't sold out the concept of seniority...................yet, they are toothless Chihuahuas from a leverage standpoint. The only difference for Envoy flows is they'll be ultra-junior at AA upon flow and if necessary, expendable. Expendable meaning if push comes to shove and not all AA pilots interests can be equally protected, the junior will take the worst hit just as always. It will be ironic when many junior flows (especially former Envoy reps) scream to the rafters about "unity" and "looking out for the junior" when at Envoy they willfully subscribed to the "every man for himself" mantra.

Now that the swing vote is retiring, SCOTUS will be solidly conservative. BAD news for labor and I expect the Janus ruling to hit the private sector within a few years. "Divide and Conquer" works. If each union loses even 10-20% of their paying members, it will cause chaos in that operation as those not paying will be treated like scabs by those who are and the alienation among that group will destroy what's left of it. Rats feeding upon other rats. Regarding the airline industry, economics alone and pilot shortage notwithstanding, I can't imagine what this former profession (now just a job) will be like in 5-7 years. It's all coming together like a gourmet recipe for disaster and not only pilots will lose, but so will the industry. WAY too many red flags now to be bullish on this industry and former profession.

How’s that 50% looking now.... never should have agreed to 29. Called that one too.

I’m fairly sure every protected pilot saw that from a mile away.
