    Only way aag can complete is to have skywest buy larger airplane guaranteed by aag 12 year contract and have skywest compete against the ulcc carriers trans atlantic via skywest cheap labor. Of course what i have just stated is humor with a twist of sarcasm. So easy does it.

    You’re not too far off. If AA gets out-priced and can’t profitably compete, they either pull out, outsource to code-shares or try and ratchet the product down to a cheaper level. None of these options are good for either AA pilots or those at Envoy with flow aspirations. One thing seems certain and that’s AA pilots will continue to be the “cheap seats” when it comes to compensation and QWL compared to their peers.
