Yeap, read that and the person was CORRECT. AA is becoming American West very fast. I would go even farther and say AA is emulating Spirit, cheap at every turn. Maybe Parker should also consider hand rails with straps to hold on like the public busses have to increase profits and reduce the asm cost. Just a thought.

Dangerously excessive debt, eroding market share due to loss of flexibility others like United have because they can’t grow mainline due to inaccessibility of aircraft or regional due to lack of pilots and hamstrung by Scope even if they could get regional pilots, impending big demands by AA pilots for competitive contract starting the 1st of next yet and a pension way under funded requiring BIG payments over the next few years bleeding liquidity, lease obligations coming due in earnest starting in 2021, arguably the most alienated labor in its history and a descending product in terms of quality. All coming together for AAG at just the wrong time in the next 2-3 years, which is something that its competitors aren’t facing........

.....and that is WITHOUT a significant geopolitical global or domestic industry event others could withstand, but turning from a financial standpoint what could be a disasterous blaze into a possibly uncontrollable conflagration at AA. The red flags have been out in the breeze for a couple of years now, but many aren’t watching, listening or caring. Can Parker pull a rabbit out of a hat ? I have serious doubts.

    Caveat Emptor.
