    20 E190ís

The average age of the American E190ís is only 10 years old. The estimated Useful Life of the aircraft is 20-30 years. It is schedule to be out of the mainline fleet in 2019. All 20 are 20 are owned by AAG. Where are they going to end up?

No rumors, just a simple question.

Zero chance of that. They will probably sent overseas.

If they need to keep S80ís longer because the Eagle system is melting, then maybe the 190ís will stay longer too ?

AA Group 1 Aircraft Pay Scale below average and that is being kind. Industry matching scale, then I wish AA had more Group 1 aircraft. Note: 2018 12 year CA - $175.54.

That is $1.77 per seat. Multiply $1.77 times the amount of seats that your aircraft has and that should be your 12 year Captain AAG/WO Group I hourly rate. Compare with Republic and Endeavor pay rates and you will see what ALPA did for them, but they wonít do for you.

    that's a 30 dollar raise.
remember passengers pay the same amount for the ticket to fly eagle as American. so they can afford to pay us more.
also think on this, aa contracts republic, republic e75 18 year pay is 123 p/hr plus there min landing fuel is 4000 pounds, now aag pays them and republic covers its cost while the w/o's have to deal with sub par pay and fight for every drop of fuel so not to declare min fuel.

time for the union to fight aggressively for improvements in all areas. if the company balks, then its the unions job to go public with the issues. just an opinion
    Sir, can I have another.

We should ask how the TWU-IAM's public campaign is going. Unless maybe you mean like going on facebook/twitter/IG and posting stuff to the recruitment/envoy/aa pages? Give it a shot. I hear middle seat super 80 down to DFW is nice this time of year.
(note:I agree w/ everything above that quote you said)

Hey guys, go easy on the union, they are extremely busy helping/findings solutions for the companyís problems. Give them some time, and they come back to the pilot group problems. Keep paying your dues, ďdonít worry be happy.Ē🎶

I could get a lot happier if I had my dues back, kinda like a refund for being useless.

It’s obvious Envoy pilots pay doesn’t need to be raised, at least in the minds of those who make that call, because I think they know most Envoy pilots are in too deep here to bail unless a legacy or in some cases, one of the better LCC’s calls. Actually, in that attitude, they are right. I keep hearing pilots threatening to “get their apps out” if Envoy monkeys with the flow and the message there is that it really has to get much worse here to accelerate attrition, so they are safe from lateral moves. Even if they did stop the flow for say....Summer and some pilots got aggressive, by the time they had classes elsewhere, the flow would start again and most pilots would stay again. Until upward attrition spikes, no significant moves costing money are likely to be made. Envoy will bleed mostly from more junior pilots with little invested and from the trickle-thru at the top end below the lifers. I call it PCP (Proactive Career Paralysis) and just like the more well known drug, it is extremely debilitating and destructive.

That’s another disease also rampant at Envoy, known as IAM (It’s About Me) and it’s a byproduct of having a flow-thru. The flow is a double-edged sword the cuts Envoy pilots from both sides. It causes PCP due to its intoxicating ability to create inflated hope among the Association membership leading to apathy and IAM among the leadership due to not wanting to risk losing their own buzz leading to abandonment of their fiduciary responsibilities. The end result is an impotent and rudderless group on both sides destined to wallow in the gutter of the drug they seek and embrace to the point of forgetting all else. One could aptly argue this pilot group isn’t even in a union anymore. Under present circumstances, Envoy pilots will only get what others want to give them for they are too strung-out chasing a high that is successfully being used to render them meek and compliant.
