Haven’t heard much on this subject in awhile.
Anyone have the new hire vs. attrition numbers?

Only a trickle of street Captains I hear and that is what’s needed to keep the flow engine running smoothly and consistently. Don’t know what carrot they can offer next, perhaps pay 12th year AA group 2 captains rate for HVA’s, build them commutable non reserve schedules and rebrand them PNH’s (Platinum New Hires) ?

Since ALPA is no longer around to defend Envoy pilots contract anymore and both pay and seniority concepts have been abandoned, anything is possible.

I think they are out of carrots. Not easy when a 4th year FO somewhere else makes more than a new hire CA here, and 9 years to flow.
The flow is starting to run out of energy as a recruitment tool. Also, no pay raises in the near future. Pay raises this summer is just a rumor.

My prediction for the next DEC carrot is positive space to/from LGA and hotels while on rsv in LGA. In exchange the company will probably offer to increase the flow by a few a month.

And just how do you Nostradamuses know what the current captain requirement for Envoy is? Some of you don't even WORK HERE. Throwing around guesstimates and I heard so and so from my buddy doesn't cut it. The fact is, you have no idea. If you dip****s did, then you wouldnt be on here spooning out the dog s*** to anybody you can get to listen. Face it, you sheep are led by a 65 year old guy in a wheelchair that writes manifestos that make all others look like a kids book. Waiting for "the flow is about to come to a schreecing halt, better get ready Envoy guys and gals" in 3....2....1..

Ooooooookay....................instead of blowing more emotional sewage out of your blowhole, how about some facts ? The truth is you can't offer any that mitigate the realities Envoy is facing (but still denying). Face it..........this can't continue on in perpetuity and Envoy has been throwing everything but the kitchen sink at their problem and now not even the flow-thru is working. Considering it takes 3 months to drag most new-hires through the process and another 15-18 months to get 1000 PIC and in that interim in theory (unless they slow or stop the flow), they move upwards of 500 captains to AA and surely others will vacate fro greener pastures then Envoy/AA, what's the plan ?

You have to admit the numbers and the plan wont work without HVA's and A LOT of them and considering for most new-hires it has to work almost seamlessly for 7-9 years ?

    Please.

Well fish face, better 65 year old in a wheel chair than a 21 year old still in diapers. Oh and by the way, you and your partner started the age issue long ago, so don't cop an attitude either.

    Flipper be trippin’.
Now that the head of the Pep Squad has flowed, he appears to be more angry/scared than before.
The Spooge took his liquor with him and one condition of being accepted into APA is not to share or communicate with those lowly regional pukes.

Cool story bro. Maybe you don't want to flow? Why not stay at Envoy and make it a career? Talk about angry/scared. Take a look in the mirror brah. That be you.

Not me. I'm good with the inside story here and the flow is looking up, not down. Going to get even better than before. Soon.

We were flowing MORE before we started with these record class sizes. Once the company started growing, flowing was metered. #flownotgrow

That was arbitrator mandated. They didn’t flow anymore faster than they were required to. Just like now, according to their belief

....and flipper also be flip-floppin’. STILL offers no facts and now that he’s become the forums de facto crapola flapper since his alter-ego was outed and is laying low till he gets his APA card, he should establish himself as more then just a flip-floppin’ Crapola flapper. On that note, isn’t the flow supposed to go down to 15/month at some point in the near future ? At only 180 Captains a year, that sounds like a decrease, not an increase.

For the Broward blowhole’s latest mist to be potable, it would mean they’d not only have to ramp up that decrease to the present 25/month, but more and there again you only exacerbate the present problem. Come on flipper........start backing up your claims !

All he and his ilk have to offer are insults and promises of things that for the most part never come to fruition. Never have any of the cheer leaders ever addressed or acknowledged the issues of QOL, CBA violations, or any of the other negatives that face the work force here.
