    Training center displacments

Email sent out today. 45 day notice for emb 145 SIM instructor/check airmen displacments starting May 1st. Rumor is 20 to 30 heading back to the line due to lack of students in the emb145 (our junior) plane.

This can't be good for our over staffed FOs or new hires. Thought envoy was the place to be Dacuj?

Lack of students for the E-145 ?

That’s the largest fleet for Envoy and they’re supposedly increasing the fleet with parked aircraft. Without a strong influx of pilots for that aircraft to feed a ravenous appetite for both F/O’s and especially Captains that will flow, how do they keep the flow engine to AA running ?

    Interesting development.

You are making a mountain out of a molehill. Training is prepping for the summer and we are simply overstaffed on FOs at the moment.

......or you are representing that mountain as a molehill, which has been your M.O. in the past. At least 6 week lead time for announcement for bidding purposes means 20-30 instructors (a substantial number) not needed for at least entire Summer. Word I hear is huge logjam getting pilots through training and how can Envoy explode to 3,000 - 3,500 pilots quickly like you claim when all other indications show the Envoy engine is bogging down.

    - Too many F/Oís who canít be moved through training quickly (especially if some need a lot of extra training).

    - Shortage of Captains requiring sugared-up ads to lure in street Captains which will get worse IF they run the flow at even minimum speed should outside attrition spike.

    - Qualified instructors themselves who might be flowing resulting in a possible shortage of instructors when they are needed.

Sounds like an unbalanced engine not firing on all cylinders to me and if the flow is to run steadily even at minimum rate, let alone ramping this airline up to 3,500 pilots, it will need to run much smoother then that.

Actually, they have stopped hiring FO's with the exception of the RTP and Pipeline program. Any other new hire must have 1,000 part 121 and be upgradable in new hire training to finish as a Captain.

$45,000 check on day one and still can't get enough to stem the bleeding....

We told them this would happen.

Just talked to a buddy who is still at envoy. Amazed that he has told some of the stories of how poor the new hires are. Can not land in a cross wind and just normal flying things.

Land, they can't take off in a crossword without beating the daylights out of the rudder and making everyone in the back puke. But they are here to save aag so we must not upset them.

So when are the chief pilots being forced to upgrade from FO and fly the line? Are they off probation yet?

Why don't you give up dude? you still are out here chirping the same old tune while Envoy keeps flowing. WTF gives? Do you burn a picture of an Envoy 175 every night and watch it like a porno flick? Seriously, you are f***ing crazy old man.

This whole deal is nothing more than bringing a handful of guys back to the line for summer as training slows while the schedule is heavy. Nothing more than that. We are still flowing the same number each month. Nothing has changed and nothing else to see here. Move along.

Sorry Brah........no can do. How can Envoy slow training if they are meteorically climbing to well over 3000 pilots as per the DMG ? How can they keep the flow engine running when they canít get the Street Captains they are willing to pay over $100K for ?

    Both valid questions.

Well brah....your pee a** brain can't understand but the buildup to 3000 is well underway. Hiring has been through the roof since you're out to lunch on the subject. What's changed is the need for a few more Captain slots so their is the need for the HVA program. It's temporary and once caught up, hiring mass numbers will continue. Guess what that does for your hated flow? Keeps it running nonstop dude. Hasn't even been a hiccup while you are all over the forums with multiple screen names screaming the flow is coming to a stop. Their are your answers old man.

Ahhh.........it’s “pea” brain flipper, something you should know, but anyway once again when bankrupt of a coherent response, the DMG offers nothing but personal attack and insults. My bet says you suspect trouble is coming and are angry and upset you can’t swim and hide from that reality.

Envoy should have no problem meeting the training requirements of the numbers they choose to hire, yet once again they demonstrate overly optimistic planning and subsequent failure and regression. Never been a hiccup with the flow, flipper ?

You have a very short memory......and here I thought your species was supposed to be intelligent. You’d never cut it at Sea World.

Yes. There are plenty who want the perks of being a sim instructor. Many make over $150,000 flying their sim schedules and picking up whatever OT they like.
