Why would it be Christmas Eve ?

Envoy is supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread filled with flying Crown Jewels and now you’re headed to beagleboy’s old job for losers who couldn’t get hired elsewhere. You sure sound like someone thrilled to be soon paroled from the shackles of the Envoy Correctional Facility.

If you weren't aware, Envoy signed a TA several years back that established the flow program thus effectively converting everyone on property and those yet to be, to..American Airlines pilots. Recruiting was revamped to the standard AA interview as you were interviewing for your career job at this point.

I'm excited for what the future holds. I love Envoy and my time here has been awesome. I'm super grateful to management for having the vision to offer and implement this flow program. Looking forward to getting through training and moving into my new SA afterward.

The flow was originally developed/negotiated by ALPA and APA.

The flow-through to AA was a result of managements "vision" ? Obviously you weren't aware of just how the flow came about. They really had no choice if they wanted to operate RJ's at the regional level without warfare with AA pilots, so it wasn't a product of vision, but of necessity. It also wasn't really for pilots, but for the company as history and the present prove, that flow has, is and will be diluted as much as possible, whenever possible. I have little doubt your time at Envoy has been awesome as you describe it, but let's face it................it is only that way because you found a way to feather your nest on the backs of other pilots, many of whom have experiences not so "awesome". I can also see why you would be stoked to continue your feasting upon a new host of pilots as so far, according to you, it has paid off handsomely.

As I stated before, I think AA pilots would be fools for allowing you into their union given your past and obvious plans for the future.

A four party agreement that involved both unions and both management teams. The true beneficiary of this was really only for one of those parties.

I stand partially corrected. Both AA and Eagle management basically left it up to the associations to hammer out the details though.

Exactly. Making my point. The vision was cast by American Airlines and Envoy management. They let the associations hammer out the details. Obviously they were happy with the result as they didn't have to intervene and make executive decisions on keeping the flow strength and parameters up.

The unions (nor EAGLE management) did NOT unilaterally determine the details, AMR did. Yes, the concept and contract language had to be agreed to by both unions, but AMR had final approval. The approval involved contractual language so hasty and poorly thought out a dozen arbitration’s were required to resolve conflicts and for Eagle pilots one primary fundamental reality was that the flow to AA would run at the minimum rate possible, so your laughable claim about “keeping flow strength and parameters up” is more fake news borne of delusional fantasy.

Stop trying to rewrite history as it’s most definitely not your forte.

AMR needed an end around run on scope language at the time. The regional feed was all in house. Envoy/Eagle management had very little say in the end. As the Beagle said, quit trying to rewrite history that happened when you were still waiting for your pubes to sprout.

I'm not rewriting anything dipstick. You both have admitted that AMR was the one calling the shots. They absolutely wanted to cement Envoy in as the leading carrier as they knew that pilot supply was tightening at the time. It was a brilliant move on their part that paid handsome benefits to the pilots while shoring up and solidifying American Airlines feed.

I'd say PSA is the leading carrier. Their pilots are currently flowing in half the time of Envoy's.

Do you even read what you post ?

There was no “Envoy” back then, only “American Eagle, Inc.”. You keep conflating your present delusion with past reality. There was also no regional pilot shortage then (which you now admit exists) and thus no reason then to attempt to dominate acquisition of a dwindling resource like now. Back then, it was simply about getting RJ’s without starting war with mainline pilots. Now they are indeed trying that tack, but clearly they are failing. If they were succeeding with the flow, there would be no need for staggering new-hire bonuses to get people in the door, F/O or Captain.

They are now throwing any mud available at the wall and when this doesn’t meet the future need (which intevitably it won’t), then what ? Again, being junior at AA under that scenario isn’t a very good spot if job security is a primary concern, let alone advancement.

So you call a fellow AA pilot Ahole? Do I need to ruin your next SA gig with a rule 32?

Easy. Look for someone still on probation while on SA. Forward said comments to management. SA over. By the way, you never had the SA to begin with.
