    You will have to wait...but,
Donít let this paragraph fool you...

ďThe changes are part of Americanís broader effort to offset deliveries of new planes with retirements to hold its mainline fleet at around 950, although the figure is set to drop to 935 in 2020.Ē

Media sources are dutiful in reporting what they are told..........and they are only told what the source telling them want them to know.

One minor detail they forgot to mention is, they are also retiring in 24 months:

    9 A330
    10 B757
    20 E190
    45 MD80ís

    Streamline & fuel efficient fleet.

AA has been saying for some time that the older 73 were going to be retired. Big question is are they changing the 350 orders to 787’s.

Better chance of AA ordering used Tupolevs than new 330s. The 350 orders will either be converted to 321s or sold to someone like Delta. The question should be: does AA order more 787-9s, or get some 787-10s?
