    Preliminary bid results out. Seems like every qualified FO on the seniority list have been displaced into Captain seat.
    Seniority 215 forced to upgrade looks like.

    But not for long unless 25-30 F/O’s meet minimums every month to replace monthly flows and outside ejections. Of course, the other option is to stop growth and likely shrink. There is a third option, but we don’t want to talk about that.

    So, if you were awarded the left seat on the last bid through a vacancy and on this one you were displaced to a different aircraft is that legal?

    Yeah, your training freeze doesn't begin until 14 days prior to going to class. Until you're in your training freeze, anything is fair game.

    In looking at this developing situation, the Summer looks perilous for Envoy pilots, especially Captains. Considering by then another (theoretically) 125-150 Envoy Captains will have been paroled to greener pastures either to AA or elsewhere, unless the get an equal number ON LINE to fill those slots, QWL for Captains will plummet to the most hideous levels possibly in Envoy’s or its predecessor Eagle’s existence. This is JUST to maintain present block hours, NOT expand. If those pilots cannot be corralled, Envoy will have no choice but to either contract, cancel vacations and ramp up reassignments to FAR maximums or delay flow. Has anyone asked Envoy ALPA what their plan for such a disaster is ?

    Oh boy. Another newsflash from our resident conspiracy theorist who tells us daily that the sky is falling. Far from it. The extra upgrades now are getting AHEAD of the curve. So there ya go. Envoy management actually being proactive.

    And above you admit that Envoy guys will still be flowing to AA. I thought you said that was coming to a screeching halt did you not?

    Oh, and while you are in mission control "looking over the Envoy 'situation,'" let me notify you that it's not me posting on the other forum. However, the person whom I take that you think that I am did put out a very detailed and involved analysis that added up the worst case scenario and STILL put the flow at 6-8 years worst case. I personally lean towards right at 6 for a new hire today.

    Nope, didn’t claim Envoy pilots won’t flow to AA, but did claim unforeseen (and even known) situations might impact that. Fact is, they’re forcing F/O’s to upgrade and that means THERE IS A PROBLEM and if that is the only way (obviously) to “get ahead of the curve”, that problem cannot BE solved unless other measures are adopted. Just what those options may be is the unknown.

    I still predict major problems in the future and your bankrupt rebuttal doesn’t change that.

    Haven’t read the post you think I have, so don’t know what any claims are. Fact is, no one can predict the future only make reasonable assumptions based on the present. The present (2017) proves I was right claiming Envoy may not reach flow targets and now has gone further in acts of desperation to staff their schedule by forcing pilots into things they do not want to do yet. It would be wise to ADD time to projected flow times considering the reality you desperately attempt to replace with fantasy as opposed to suckling the nipple of Pollyanna hope which so far has left most Envoy pilots dry.

    False. You can be displaced to another CA seat even while in upgrade class. 3 people were.
