Your argument holds no water as usual. Growth is good. More Captains equals more FOs equals flow clicking along like a well oiled machine. In case you missed it, new hires are flocking to Envoy like flies to s**t.

Flow hasn't been a well oiled machine since the 824 ended. Since then it has slowed to a coughing, sputtering, unreliable trickle.

Did you really intend to use this analogy?

Your brain holds no common sense as usual. Growth IS good if the resources remain in the foreseeable future to support it AND it produces tangible benefits to known deficiencies. If not, then it can actually be a negative and in the case of the flow, even more of a negative. As for your analogy, itís interesting you choose to equate Envoy with feces. Yes, Envoy is attracting flies, but just like fecal matter, it doesnít make Envoy something less obnoxious. A perfect example is all those new flies not improving the smell of either the flow-thru or working conditions.

Absolutely not meant to come off like that dips**t. The analogy is meant to show that we have hordes trying to get in here because of what we offer.

    Sorry Dacuj but you said...

ďnew hires are flocking to Envoy like flies to s**t.Ē

    New hires = flies
    Envoy = s**t

I canít believe you said that...
    WOW! So, disappointed 😔

.....and yet you do anyway. Why ?

Because you are incapable of seeing the worthlessness of your argument. To wit, in the past ďhordesĒ of pilots came to Eagle with promises of ďyouíll be at AA in 5 yearsĒ or similar sales pitches and not one pilot made that promised timetable with the exception of the first 124 pilots who flowed to AA post lock-in/pre 9/11. Many pilots still at Envoy a decade or more later got the same spiel in their new-hire interviews/indoc post year 2000. Just because X number of pilots come to Envoy believing something is not the same as validating that which they came to Envoy believing. The reality is that many (not all) are hoping and that is all.

Once again you conflate unrelated things to support your sales pitch and most now have seen it to be the mountain of ethical feces you seem to wallow in so readily.

Tell you what pinhead. When we stop getting 80, 90; 100+ per month.......then and only then can you make an argument. For now go the way of 360dd, be honorable and leave.

He can stay, if it is required I give him open invitation to post here.
Your 80, 90 or 100 per month should actually be 40 or month, the rest bust everything. Wait til you see how they land and talk in the radio, believe it or not they are worse today with 1500 hours compared to when they hired at 200 hours.

He'll never experience that since he mostly flies a desk and cherry picks open time once in a while.

When I was hired I was told I would upgrade in 2 and flow in 4. Took me 7 to upgrade, and I was a quick upgrade comparatively.

Is that correct? Only 50% are completing their initial training in the original footprint?

50% failure rate for new hires is totally false. I expect this kind of BS on here from this bunch of whiners.

    So what is it?
What percentage of new hires are successful completing our training programs within the original footprint?

Fact. I've had to unsat 3 pilots alone due to their inability to land (way off centerline, not landing in the touchdown zone, not flaring, flaring too high/low). 1 of them unsatted IOE 3 times. He was terminated. He had near 2000 hours.

During my upgrade we lost 3 of 4 new hires on my equipment. Canít speak for the other 2 planes, but I know of a handful more from that class washed out. This was when classes were about 20-ish. Iím curious to know the real percentages on washout. I bet itís not quite 50% but still a staggering number compared to what American Eagle used to be.
