You heard the man...our ties to AA and the flow are getting bigger! It's right around the corner.

If you are referring to 056* heading to LAX tomorrow as 9800/06, its a reposition flight to operate a charter flight as part of the Gary Sinise Foundation. Envoy has done some of their charter flights in the past. Read your AA emails for more information. I agree - the GSF does some really good things for our vets and I have a feeling in the future they will do similar charter operations. You are right on that account.

    * Anyone know why the 175s are coded in DECs differently than 145s and CRJs? On the 145s, N680AE is 680 in DECS. N519EA is 519. Yet the 175s, N220NN is 020.

Some of CRJ are slightly different too. 529 or 539, can remember which is 9EA.

    Interesting NS on 9800...

I have been told that an older fleet (Saabs, ATRs?) used the 200 series so they arbitrarily used a 0** for the new fleet. Someone else probably knows it better.

Same reasoning why the CRJs have the strange numbers...the ATRs had 5** tail #s.

Makes sense, there are still a few Saabs still in the RGOL (I think 10 now) and their tail numbers would conflict with some of the 175s.
