    Statement from your CEO

See Doug Parker's comment below. It's just another reason that people are picking to come to Envoy in droves. A bright future with a career at American Airlines. It's obvious that AA is doing something right and is the leader in the industry.

"The CEO of American Airlines says the once-volatile industry has changed so radically that his company will never lose money again.
Even in a bad year, Doug Parker says, the world's biggest airline should earn about $3 billion in profit before taxes.
Parker made the declaration at a meeting with analysts and reporters on Thursday."

Cool! Now follow suit with endeavor and up the ENTIRE pay scale for all. Get rid of bonuses that just divide us.

Envoy's TalkAirline spin doctor is in early this morning I see with some fresh alternative facts. Picked up a 64-ounce jug of Kool-Aid on your way in this morning did you ? At least it's less likely you hit the sauce again last night as if so, I'd think you'd still be passed out back at home with mom yelling down at you in the basement.

First of all, Doug Parker is not the CEO of Envoy, Pedro Fabregas is and secondly, just because Parker believes nothing could negatively financially impact AAG for the rest of time, doesn't make that fact. Besides, that has nothing to do with why the majority of pilots are coming to Envoy. Many are coming for livable first year cash (which then dries up) and a potential back-up possibility to a legacy carrier should other opportunities not materialize. Some might even come for the fast upgrade to better realize those opportunities.

Nice effort though as I previously said, a good salesman will ALWAYS try and sell whatever he feels works for his interests. I assume you'll be hard at work looking for other tidbits and morsels to slant, spin or bastardize to include in future sales pitches and I look forward to more mirth.

I'm passing along truth. A genuine quote and published by news outlets from the American Airlines CEO, and yes, he is Envoy's CEO as well in addition to Fabregas. This is something that new guys can read and actually get a handle on what the direction and positioning of the company is. You on the other hand, just spew out a bunch of false innuendo mixed with a smattering of lies.

So, you tell me who the new guy should believe? The American Airlines CEO? Or, a washed up former Envoy, now near retirement MD80 FO?

CEO of Envoy is Pedro. Not Doug Parker. Once again you're wrong.

Dacuj...By the way, why do you constantly belittle and call people names who disagree with you? It's childish and flat out embarrassing.

Yes, Fabregas is technically Envoy's CEO. I'll give you that. But, Envoy is wholly owned by AAG. Who is the CEO of AAG, who happens to own Envoy outright? Well, guess what? That means your ultimate CEO is Parker. On top of that, every single new hire here is hired to be an AA pilot, yes, from day one.

So they should be treated as an AA pilot from day one, right?

You are Kelleyanne Pazuzu. You spin alternative facts and mix lies with the truth. If we could only get Fathers Merrin and Karras to help you out. Envoy and American Airlines are separate entities within AAG and pilots hired at Envoy are not AA pilots, but may eventually have the opportunity to transfer to the AA subsidiary as new hires. There IS a difference despite what you attempt to spin and conflate.

    THAT is the reality.

WHAT, I am not an AA pilot. This is disturbing to me now. But my green vest says American airlines on it. How can this be true, someone not telling me the truth.

Considering we're all AA pilots, shouldn't we keep out years of longevity for vacation purposes when we flow.... oh wait.... flow TO AA.... that's right, we're not AA pilots yet.

If they arent having issues filling new hire classes then why is the sign in bonus about to double? Or better question why even offer a sign in bonus? My bet would be their interview stack is getting a little thin. These bonuses have got to stop in the current form. Giving one group a bonus and not another is a pretty good way to divide us. Senior captains, newer captains, and new hires is what I am talking about . Itís time to see an increase in pay instead. Then you can quote best flow AND highest paid regional. Oh and get rid of that damn metering (which is gonna screw us royaly in November by way of no true up).
