I was asking about that. You said it was going to happen within the next month or two....about 7 months ago. I also asked about 40/month of flows you said was going to be happening soon too. And about LAX growing legs.

Look he is like The politicians and generals during Vietnam. Body count , Body count was all they cared about, while the grunt on the ground knew we were losing the war!

Why are there no CRJ awarded? If they stop hiring in to it, CA should refuse to fly as FOs.

MIA looking to expand, another base in the future, increased flying from AAG. Everything is good and we are on a high climbing trajectory here at Envoy. Things are better than they have ever been here and I'm about to start another round of bitching from the peanut gallery.
Glad we're getting lots of new hires. Now stop junior Manning pilots. Start awarding PVDs. Stop putting RAP1 pilots in to 10 hours of rest to fly an overnight at 9pm. Stop messing up our pay. Send more flows. Stop threatening us to fly fatigued by withholding pay.

    This!
Unfortunately, our representatives can't seem to gather up the stones to even attempt to discuss these subjects with management.

Every other class has little to no CRJ hires. The last class had seven.

Out of a record size, no CRJ slots? Yet no matter how many new hires we put in the CRJ, we still have CA forced to sit in the FO seat. I know of at least 3 reserve CRJ CA who have flat out refused to fly as a FO. Two of the flights ended up cancelling. We're done doing the company "favors" and I hope other pilots in other equipment are too.

If there are no FOs available to fly the flight, I'm not sure what leg one would have to stand on. It's in the contract and if the pilot is right seat qualified, that's a clear missed assignment if it's refused. I don't like it at all myself, but it's a legal contractual assignment. I'm curious to see what reasoning you're coming up with that a CA flying as an FO can refuse the flight.

Section 12.G outlines rsv captains assigned FO trips.

Cause we/they have been doing it way too often. 1 just said no after it was his 7th FO assignment in a month. Another one was a JM as a FO. He claimed family issues. It was his 6th time assigned as a FO. I get once in a while but some weeks the CA are flying more as FOs than as CA and they're sick of it. They have grieved most of them on the basis of not being adequately staffed.

It seems clear to me that descriptions like this bely an organization that has spiraled into dysfunctionality and disarray. Such situations are simply not indicative of a healthy operation, nor one having zero threat of serious crippling in the future. Add to that the fact they will inevitably be forcing F/O's into captain status and possibly new-hires is also not borne of health, but desperation, so while some may argue its positives, one must look beyond its face to see the reasons why and that is what cannot be ignored. Right now, a steady stream of pipeliners, poachees and the curious are being fed into the breech, but what happens when the ammo cans run dry ? Even with the present ammo supply, the guns sound as if they are jamming like early versions of the M16 that had weak springs.

I simply cannot see situations like these as ones that inspire confidence about the future despite the desperate pleas, claims and demands of the local sales reps.

The title of this thread and the one right below it speak for themselves. 69 in class. 150 CA upgrades. It seems I distinctly remember those on this forum and other forums also saying that Envoy would never be able to even come close to hitting these type of numbers. On top of that, new hires who are eligible upgrade immediately upon hire if they are eligible. Not even close to the 2.5 year upgrade that all of you scoffed at a year or more ago. 2 years UNDER that number now. With MIA back and more to come, it seems like the never satisfied crowd just become even less satisfied. With that, a huge congratulations to all these new Captains and new hires for joining the best regional with the best flow anywhere.

Care to speak as to the issues that haven't changed such as QOL?
Or will you just remain silent as you and the other cheerleaders do?
