Arbitrator went against prior case law, prior arbitration (including on our own property), contrary to NLRB rulings and even ignored some federal law claiming it wasn't violated. then ruled in favor of the company.

Worse decision than the 12.E.1. Arbitration. We were shocked.

This is a perfect example why a negotiated settlement is sometimes better.

If I had it to do over again, I would have never gotten involved in union work. Trying to help make things better has done nothing but harm me and my family.

so, unless the company decides to let bygones be bygones it looks like I won't be back.

Evidence of possible misrepresentation by the company was obtained after the arbitration ended and he refused to reopen the record.

At some point I'll type up the whole mess so everybody can see how retaliatory and picayune they have been.

Considering that if your description of events is accurate, has ALPA made any effort to ensure this arbitraitor (pun intended) never hears another pilot termination case again ? If not, why not ?

I deleted my post, ardvark. I was unaware of the bonus currently in place.

121 bonuses are clearly intended to target pilots at other regionals (poaching). They know there are really only two viable sources right now, that being University program pilots and present pilots at other regionals. The former is a limited source that cannot produce the monthly needed numbers especially in non graduate months and thus this effort to fill the gap with other regional pilots. It's doubtful this source will do much for Envoy in the mid-long term as most who are Captains elsewhere won't bite and soon once Delta and United see enough potential threat from Envoy poaching, they'll have to act to slam that door shut with more aggressive career retention efforts at their affiliates.

These are all last ditch Hail Mary passes that will not solve the crisis they themselves created by turning this profession into just a job. Another consideration is that AAG in their desperate and endless search for a regional pilot high much like a opiate junkie roves the streets hustling for his next fix will eventually turn their RJ fleet into the most expensive and money losing segment of their business, while their competition laughingly will eventually run their mainline products against AA's regional one more profitably. Once a junkie is hooked though, it's tough for them to consider anything but what gives them the buzz they love.

It will sure get interesting when United and/or Delta unveil the C-series product (mainline) or similar against the clapped out 145's and CRJ's at the Eagle system. That's going to be a real eye opener for some to see.

I'll re-post what I deleted. 20k in addition to the 17.5 or 22.5 bonuses in place for previous part 121 experience.

We'll see if Dacuj comes through.

Is this offered on class day 1? Or is it not happening at this time for classes?

From what I understand, it was offered quietly starting with the last class. Perhaps they were a test bed of sorts, but this may or may not coincide with things to come.

I'm ex-Eagle and have been at AA several years now. The information above was relayed from a pilot who just started at Envoy and came from another carrier.

Thank you very much. The kind words, emails and occasional US postal letter have been very helpful in recognizing my work wasn't for nothing and that it was appreciated. Even my wife appreciated it differently after reading many of the thank you notes and letters.

Honestly though; I'll never do union work again. It's done nothing but hurt me and my family.

People wonder why the union doesn't fight harder for things. One need only look at Neal and me to know why.
They fired 3 of the past 5 NY union reps.

...and "threatened" other (former) Reps. That's all I will say.

Will the increase be based on the loss of QOL and FO bonuses from forced CA upgrades?
