    Spirit Airlines Pathway Program

How does flying an Airbus after as little as two years at GoJet sound? GoJet's Pilot Pathway Program with Airbus operator Spirit Airlines guarantees just that. GoJet pilots who are accepted into this program will be eligible to transition to Spirit after two years of service. This program gives talented pilots a defined career path, along with exceptional earning potential.
New GoJet pilots may apply to this program immediately upon completion of training.

Seems light on specifics. Needs more details about what they are promising. Even with that, considering GoJets reputation, I'd be leery even if they were promising the moon regarding flying one of Spirits bumblebees.

I'm sure United and Delta will be very happy that GoJets is allowing Spirit to poach pilots from their regional feed.

It's only a matter of time before they too have no choice but to adopt flow-thrus if they want to maintain a viable regional network. I think their regional networks (and risk) will be substantially smaller then AA's who could end up in worse trouble when the poaching well is dry. That will then be just another red flag for AA along with their monstrous debt. I think they are whistling past the cemetery and have no proactive plan, but nothing new there.

Total freaking joke. A "flow thru" to "Spirit?" Who is dumb enough to fly for Spirit anyway? They're the Mesa of the LCCs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it not too long ago that Parker stated he wanted to compete with Spirit, specifically? The "Mesa of the LCC's", as you say?

You do see the irony in disparaging flying for Sprit Airlines from someone flying for Envoy, yes ?

Obviously not. Put the flow to AA aside for a minute and realize you DO NOT fly for AA, but Envoy and Spirit could very arguably be considered a more lucrative flying job then Envoy and as good a stepping stone to elsewhere, even AA. I think one of Kramer's golf balls is lodged in your blowhole and your compass is spinning.

You are wrong. The largest major in the world trying to run a cockroach of the industry out of business by "competing" is wholly different than actual competition. No pilot worth his or her salt would ever consider working for a bottom feeder like Spirit.

All 19 former American eagle pilots who have gone to Spirit absolutely love it there. The main thing they say is they're treated like humans over there. Need a day off for a kids Birthday? Done. They have no regrets about leaving eagle. In fact, 9 of them upgraded to bus CA in under 3 years. 7 of them are now with Delta. All before I flow. And yes, they were all junior to me.

Well I did, and $72 per hr is better than the great enoy's $40 per hr. For second year pay. And a total of 7 years before you make $43 an hour.

But then again it would the greatest honor to fly for envoy, thats PRICELESS!!!

What you aren't saying here is that an Envoy FO will never see 2nd year FO pay with our 3 year upgrade. Be nice if you weren't selective with your facts.
