If it were just "a simple department transfer" we wouldn't be losing vacation and sick time.

Flow is not a "simple department transfer." One starts all over again on probation, retaining no seniority, retaining no longevity, losing all vacation and sick time, etc.

If it was just a simple "Department Transfer" we would also not have to reset our 6 month wait for ZED travel. As a person who non-revs quite a bit and uses ZED tickets a lot, that is significant to me.

Dont even get me started on ICE benefits. If it were a true department transfer, we could have ICE benefits. That basically is the definition of a department transfer.

It's not just a simple "Department Transfer". American Airlines is not perfect but they do not treat their pilots like high schoolers.

You are getting as bad as eaglefly. You DON'T WORK HERE. Sure, why not post about the good stuff over at AA, but constantly coming here and bashing Envoy seems to your favorite hobby. GET A LIFE. Go fly your cushy AA schedule and STOP BASHING ENVOY!

Can't you see the irony here? You bash an AA pilot and suggest his ideas should be dismissed because they "DON'T WORK HERE," and next you'll turn around and proclaim that we're all AA pilots because "x, y, z, blah, blah."

Your level of delusion is almost becoming comical, if it weren't so sad.

GET A LIFE! Go fly a ****ty, inefficient, non-commutable Envoy schedule and STOP PRETENDING THAT EVERYTHING IS RAINBOWS AND PONIES!

Crappy? 16 days off, 88 hours, 1-3 leg days, commutable on both ends with weekends and the 4th of July. Hmmm, crappy indeed.

Whatever base/equipment that type of schedule is on, it's in a very tiny minority. You can't just cherry pick one line and act like all of our schedules are great. How about my buddy's line of 11 days off, with 2 days off in between all month with the exception of one single 3 day off stretch.

You're absolutely right. The 10% of guys that are senior enough to hold good lines are probably happy. For the other 90% of us, the schedules suck.
