    As much as I hate to admit this, Dacuj is right in a LOT of things. They are not going to make sense right now, but they will soon. Just have to wait.
    A LOT is coming our way. Bases, simulators, pay raises " finally you will be part of the GROUP, is not going to happen overnight, but 24 months is not a long time, so keep the apps current. There will be fences, they will probably have to buy another airline just to get pilots. Kind of what Southwest did with AirTran. Right now it doesn't make sense but he is not BSing you guys. The only thing he is not telling you is how the whole recruitment effort is not enough and the QOL of this place still sucks...and that, is not going to change for quite a while. Other than that company is desperate because feeders are dropping AAG to devote their resources to United. Kirby vs Doug.
    A lot of pilots might find themselves in AA sooner than they think (Eagle rights and flows). You have to reed between the lines...so, keep this real guys, keep educating the people that read this forum, about the issues we face every day...but I can tell you this crazy guy that we all hate, is not as crazy as he sounds. Personally, I can't stand him. Just make sure, that when the music stops, you are where you want to be, base and equipment. Because the music will stop. But we might find ourselves working for the largest regional airline in the world.
    Just look the difference in pay between Group I and Group II, so the question is...which Group would you rather grow if you had no Scope?🤔

    Wishful thinking isn't a bad thing...........as long as it is grounded. All the things "coming Envoys way" (at least internally) require a steady stream of new-hires essentially in perpetuity (or at least 5 years for all new Envoy pilots) and that is a tall order. VERY tall. Acquisitions of other carriers or mergers for Envoy may indeed occur, but that doesn't necessarily translate to faster flow for Envoy pilots. If you do truly read between the lines, you'll see dacuj isn't really about the interests of Envoy pilots, but about Envoy and the interests of those two parties frequently diverge as most Envoy pilots are well aware of. When they do diverge, in virtually all cases, Envoy pilots finish second in a two-party race. Again, as for scope, APA and AA pilots hold that key and as it stands now, that is extremely unlikely to change. Also again, personally I think Envoy pilots should keenly keep their eyes on both AA's increasing debt and their penchant for diluting mainline ops in favor of deals with others to facilitate growth outside of AA itself.

    So why don't you guys stop pussy footing around, speaking in riddles and just state what you're implying? Are you dusting off the old rumor that they're going to staple us and the other 2 WOs to the AA list and have us fly 175/190s at a B scale? It's been awhile since I heard that laughable tidbit. Guess it's about that time to start spreading around that nonsense again.

    One list is absolutely in the cards. AAG is extremely innovative, and if they can find a way to move metal and thereby more passengers by combining seniority lists, you can bet it will happen.

    Like I said, a behemoth Envoy flying all heavy metal, 175 and 190s only comes as close as you can get to filling that 100 seat niche that AA so desperately needs to get to. If APA isn't interested in the scope change for massive wage increases, then yes, one list is a strong, strong possibility.

    And saying a "regional" doesn't fly 190s, well they have. Republic flew them. And Envoy isn't really a "regional." More of a national carrier.

    Combining the lists is certainly possible, but that is NOT altering AA scope. You previously described a simple payoff to AA pilots for allowing transfer of Group I mainline aircraft to the Eagle system and that's wishful thinking. "Massive wage increases" won't produce such an offer as the downside for AA pilots would be too ominous. I seems you're simply throwing hopeful scenarios out there and mixing them up with the belief they are all the same. As far as titles go, for Envoy pilots it doesn't matter whether the present Envoy is labeled a regional or national (which has been done in the past depending on the qualifier), what matters is that it is presently an "Affiliate" that operates "Commuter Aircraft" in the APA Green Book and that defines Envoy's role, fleet limits and capabilities. Again, AAG seems increasingly interested in "moving passengers" on other people's metal and taking a cut vs. running an expensive employee anchored carrier itself in the long run. I expect gradual contraction at AA instead of expansion as more and more outsourcing methods are realized.
