4 day now a 3 day, my obligations?

My four day trip is now a three day trip due to cancellations. What are my obligations contractually? If you happen to have a section/paragraph, please add that as well.

What part of the trip cancelled? Last turn cancelled means you have to call scheduling to get released during Oso. I think they can make u sit 3 hours or some crap.

Day 4 was completely wiped out and I now finish on day 3. So my 'last turn' was cancelled. So do I have to sit around on day 4 or my new last day, day 3?

I would say run. But then again I'm a rebel that's what I do. Otherwise if you want to sleep well call Ca Rep in Dallas.

I might do that. Just spoke with Andy in the ORD office, and he agrees, as long as I call to see if they have any additional flying.

My experience in this exact situation is that if they don't assign you anything on day 3, they don't even realize on day 4 that you exist.

Gotcha. Does OSO make a difference? It's OSO on day 2 (today), but if it's not OSO on day 3 (the day my trip now ends), OSO rules wouldn't apply, right? Let's assume it's OSO tomorrow as well (day 3 with nothing added so there is no day 4), does that change anything?

I'm on a step two for attendance and only have 6 more days of work at Envoy, want to be sure I'm covering my bases.

Dude, if you are that close just hang out and call scheduling. Why take the risk? If the release you, go home. If the reassign you, do it.

Personally, the risk out ways the reward on this one.

I am definitely going to call Crew Scheduling, but my concern is are they expecting me to hang out on day four after I'm released on day three and go home?

I am not trying to beat the system or anything, I'm trying to follow the rules as much as possible. I'm just worried that if I get released after calling on day three and I have no more flying, is it possible that they could add flying on day four and I would be responsible for that?

The contract says, for a line holder, you just have to contact crew scheduling, not ask them to be released, not to tell them you've lost flying, etc. Just make contact.

"Hi Mr./Mrs. Crew Scheduler. Can you confirm the time of my next sign in? Great, Thanks, Cheers!"

Contact made. Contractual obligations complied with.

I'm on a step two for performance. Doctor put me on that little blue pill. Hopefully that helps.

I called today to see if I was released and to confirm my next assignment. I was released and my next assignment is my normal 4 day on the 12th, so I am gone!

Will do!!! Btw, my phraseology above came from the ORD CPO and from Andy, it's how they said they would word it. Side note: When I called, it was my day 3, but they reassigned me to a full day 3 and I was a pumpkin when I called. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes. When she came back, she said I really didn't even need to call because I was timed out for the day. That's when I asked about being released and my next assignment. I don't think she realized I was good for the next day, because there were a couple of trips she could have given me.

They didn't call on day 4, so I spent the day making solar panel mounts for my RV and drinking beers.
