I'm surprised you haven't heard of me. I'm kind of a big deal. I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

I did ask you an easy question about quality of life. It wasn't a bark it was a simple question. One in which you deflect right back. I will give you another chance to address the QOL issues that everyone in every (3) base has voiced.
    Minimum days off avg 11/12
Minimum pay for lines. Around 77 hours
    Lack of commutable trips.
Min staffing on almost all fleet types in both seats.
    JMing beyond contract max
Capt being withheld from upgrade training some going on over 6 months
Senior FO not bidding CA because "QOL" issues.

Are these not areas that need improvements? If I'm wrong by all means let the masses way in. I play the jazz flute for heaven sake.

He responds to the questions of poor QOL like he responds to the fuzzy math of a 5 year flow...he doesn't. As you said, deflect deflect deflect. He simply has no answer demonstrating how we are going to achieve a 5 year flow and he has the audacity to claim that only a small minority of pilots are dissatisfied with the schedules and other QOL issues. I give up though. I actually get a good laugh at the outrageous statements he puts out now.

I think what he said was that the 5 year flow was projected to be here now. Or that now the projected 5 year flow was here. Something like that.

However he's trying to spin it, the latest new hire classes are projected to flow in 6.5 years from today based on ALPA spreadsheets that use actual data based on contractual flow rates over time. I've asked time and time again what his data is based on that projects a 5 year flow, which he has no answer for. And he's even said that flow will eventually get down to the 4 year mark. But without increasing the flow rate and sending more people to AA every month, there's no way to get down to this mythical 5 year flow he keeps chirping about, much less 4 years. Here's your chance to set the record straight Dacuj ol' pal. Tell me what I'm missing in your equation.

He also said the rumors are growing legs on several fronts. I don't know what more you need.

I'm beginning to think the dacuj is a troll. Not a company stooge like he makes out to be, but just someone who is completely screweing with us and just sitting back and laughing at the reaction.

If Envoy vacates ORD as a hub/domicile, would that really matter ? Outstation or fly-through MTX can always be accomplished with contract MTX there in coordination with Envoy MTX. Regardless of the eventual disposition of any given hub, Envoy pilots need to understand that Envoy is no longer the fair-haired boy of AMR (nor "American Eagle Airlines"), but simply another moveable chess piece for AAG. Right now it has strategic value, but that is not the same as returning to the past. Many factors, both controllable and uncontrollable can completely alter Envoy's present situation making Envoy as different in a few years as it is different now from a few years ago and that is a major reason why future "projections" of any type regarding any THING are essentially meaningless.

There would be layoffs. Not buyouts.

But even if that did happen the Envoy mechanics could get jobs at Skywest and get a substantial pay raise to work on the same aircraft.

He is currently with another airline. No association with AAG/Envoy.

I'm not really at liberty to say. Just that, he's pretty happy where he's at.
