April Fools day was Saturday, wasn't it ?

The E-175-E2 is at least 10,000 lbs. over APA's scope limit for Envoy and only APA represented pilots can be on the AA pilot seniority list.

You just think you are the cat's meow don't you? Guess I should be laughing with your attempt at humor.

But in real news, the LA rumor is growing legs on multiple fronts. Check out the latest discussion on APC. I've told you guys. Good things in the works.

APC. I forgot that's where we get our info. Guess with LAX opening staffing will take a dive. How would we staff all that extra flying? Insert sarcasm

Rather have WiFi. Been years since we've had it. Starting to get pissed. Guess I'll just continue to use Company data on my EFB for all my updates.

I'd rather have an AA number than an lax base. But that's just me.

Also, there's no real discussion on APC about an LAX base. All it is is people asking where the stupid rumor came from in the first place. If AA and compass were actually in litigation, wouldn't there be court documents for it? 🤔

You're obviously joking... but this would be horrible news. That would be 90 jets not at mainline, and the commensurate amount of lost mainline jobs... which we all want. I'm very thankful for scope.

What incentive does AA have to take the planes back from compass. Are we cheaper than compass? Are they having poor performance? I would assume that prior to any base in LA we would be doing fly through via the compass cities. OKC XNA IAH.
However I guess it makes good recruiting to tell people LAX will open. NY only opened because AAG refused to play ball with whiskey. The republic will focus on Miami, thus ending any hopes one has for a Miami domicile. Unless another regional tanks on their performance, I wouldn't expect to see any bases opening in the near future. We should be more focused on the fact that 11 year Capt are on RSV on the 145.

Agreed but APA doesn't want those planes either. Group 1 pay is a joke. Replacing a319 flying with those and you'll start to see fireworks.

    WHAT IS YOUR SOURCE?!?!?
No rumors, I want hard data. An article where this was announced, or a manager that I can email/call and verify this. Otherwise, you sound and act a lot like C.S. Stop with the Male Bovine Feces.

If anything of that nature were to replace AA flying, it would be Group 1 E-195-E2 or Bombardier CS-series flown by AA pilots and these would likely replace present S80, older737/Airbus aircraft. UAL and Delta are morphing in that direction and AA sadly is still an industry follower/copy-cat instead of a leader. Consider this potential tack an escalation of their ongoing love affair with the RJ. Might be the future of most of the PP flows too.
