    Jumpseat Republic

I am jump seating on a Republic flight and I checked in ahead of an AA FDJ. I'm listed as EAG FDJ. Since it isn't main line metal, I would have priority over the AA jumpseater, at least that is my understanding, is this right ?

It's whatever Republic's jump seat policy is.

No. Both offline first come first serve. Same as if united republic.

I thought AA only gets priority on own metal. I remember going to training they mentioned ENY gets same priority as AA on certain flights. I just can't remember which metal that's for

Jumpseat that isn't owned by AAG goes according to their policy. Republic would be time of check-in. Have to remember to for agent to check time of check-in because in cases of using D1 etc.

I don't have the source, but I am 99% sure that on a Republic Eagle flight, Republic gets first dibs, then all others are by time of check in. As mentioned above, it might appear to an agent that a D1 checked in first since they are above you on the list, but that may not be the case. I used to commute on Republic Eagle quite a bit and this is how it was done.

A lot of agents get confused because the priorities work differently between the Jumpseat and a cabin seat. I believe that it should go first come first serve unless he's on an A pass of some sort.

A lot of agents. Don't care and can't be bothered. I had an AA agent at DFW tell me I couldn't sit on an international jumpseat because I wasn't AA. They shut the door and told me "bye". I got two managers involved. Luckily they had to remove cargo. They brought the jet bridge back up and I got on. Bottom line AA agents are some of the worst. Good luck to anyone that has to commute on AA metal.
