Looks like the company posted the PP decision website. Already three senior guys from eagle rights or whatever (not part of the 824) have chosen to flow. Does anyone know how many of these senior PPs who weren't on the 824 list?

I wonder why senior guys would want to flow? Maybe just maybe their quality of life sucks. I talked to JS a NY guy, as senior as he is on the crj life sucks. He rather start over in NY than deal with more of this BS.

Looking at the PP Flow list, and comparing it to the 824 Flow list, it would appear to have a lot of overlap. Spot checking a number of people on the PP list shows flow awarded on the 824 list. Using the seniority on the PP list as reference, the most junior on the 824 list shows flow awarded on 3/3/17 to #397. The ALPA interactive seniority list shows him transferring in May. It also has 11 people senior to him transferring after May. The interactive seniority list has the last 824 as #423 on the PP list. It wouldn't surprise me if more seniors decide to leave the gulag like QOL of envoy as protected pilots.

What's to say a pilot wouldn't get sent to a base with an awful commute and locked in to equipment requiring a long term training event to get out of in order to get to equipment available in their preferred base? I can't honestly think that someone would base leaving Eagle on hopes of a better commute, there's no telling where you'd be sent and on what equipment. That would be an unrealistic reason to go. Reserve + commute even at mainline can't be better than senior + days off you want here at Eagle, especially factoring the pay cut and limited time remaining before mandatory retirement if they're really senior.

EDIT: quick check with someone on the other side: 12 days off is normal and pref bidding is the most likely reserve situation. So, commuting and a crashpad are definite requirements until awarded base/equipment, assuming that one isn't awarded home base immediately. DFW/ORD are taking a while to get, but NY just got a bunch of newhires so that should be junior.
